I have been working on a remake of an RCT2 park Electric Fields in my RCT3 and it is going really well.

Currently I am on the second year\season since the park began. Right now it has 3 roller coasters:
Transformers: Dark of the Moon: The Ride  (Extended Coaster)
Driftwood (Wooden Coaster)
Hanging Terror (Inverted Harpin Coaster)

I also had a little story line set up with the park, the storyline is that Hasbro is a partner of the park, meaning I would be able to make Hasbro based rides (Hence why the Transformers ride is there)

These are the rides that will be added on Year 3\Season 3:

Sonic Rainboom  (B&M Extended Coaster)
Ramba Zamba  (Ramba Zamba)
The Caterpillar  (Junior Coaster)
Dreamstar  (Dreamstar)

I might post pictures in the future or soon.
Sounds good so far- for the moment however, I'm a little preoccupied with a little RCT2 project I'm working on- an even better GF93 Land  :3

(Although why have a cool B&M coaster, and call it Sonic Rainboom?    )
Because I can  :trollface  It was either that or a GI Joe themed one or Battleship theme(Might save this for water ride)

And I will be building a ride almost like that new Green Lantern ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain for my park in a future season. :approve:

And the top 3 favourite rides in the park in order are

1.Driftwood
2.Transformers Dark of the Moon: The Ride
3.Electric Shock (Intamin Drop Tower)

Sounding good so far  :3

Talking of Electric Fields, I have a nearly-completed version of that in my RCT2 folder. Once I finish it, I'll show you it.

That should be neat.

I am also thinking on making a Fast 'n' Furious themed coaster or a How to Train you Dragon type coaster. But possibly only one due to space.

Indeedy- it's got three coasters so far, with more being planned-

Hurricane - A Wooden Coaster
Boomerang- A Vekoma Boomerang
Thunderloop Express- A Schwarzkopf Double-Looping coaster

Remember excessive amounts of scenery.

...Wait, that's why I don't like RCT2's scenarios.

But to be honest, I think RCT3 is a bit worse on that front- remember "Go with the Flow" from the original version of the game?  :P

That was the only one I did not like, liked almost all the others though, it was the RCT1 ones I did not like aka Evergreen Forest

Most were but not evergreen forest, too big, too much trees and confusing path layouts.

Botany Beach was my personal favorite, along with whatever the one that had the coaster inspired by The Ultimate at Lightwater Valley.

That's Bumbly Beach you're thinking of  :3

And that one with "The Ultimate" (known as The Storm in this game) was Katie's Dreamland- I liked that one too, but I'd always try to increase the size of the Go-Kart track when possible.

FUUUUUUUUU

I dunno, I think the best game of the three was RCT1 with the expansions; it just had masses of variety that way.

Indeedy, but having to unlock the scenarios made it a bit irrating in some minor ways- all those cool scenarios, and not being able to get to them...

But if you know where to look, you can get RCT2 versions of the RCT1 scenarios  :3

It was fine, it was just that you will lose so much money just building a roller coaster because of all the trees.

Ah, OK. I can understand that. Although if you're careful (or are a rotten cheating scumbag like I am), you can produce very cool and realistic designs without losing the original looks  :3

But I know one of a similar vain, but even more frustrating- Geoffrey Gardens, the final scenario of Loopy Landscapes- you couldn't remove trees or change the landscape. At all.

For the time being however, I got everything working on the "Worx" front- now everything shows up where it should do. To celebrate, here is an updated track utilising some of those new features-

Triple Thunder, from RCT2, has been remade here, with a load of cool new RCT3-related features. Most obviously, it's got catwalks along the first two turns and the lift hill. I also included some other subtle changes to the ride that have increased it in terms of both looks and excitement to ride.

From here, you can see that there is a moment where the coaster swoops into a misty gap underneath the queue, adding excitement for waiting riders. I also added some extra changes to the track, including an on-ride photo camera just in front of the first two loops, a slanted turning drop through the first loop, and straightening up the third loop so that it is in-line with the other three, ala Magnum Force-

-, giving it quite a cool-looking appearance when viewed from a distance, or from the air. It also has a slanted looping turn just before the first two loops, very much like the multi-looping Schwarzkopf coasters of old time. Finally, here are the ratings-

-along with a general overview of the finished coaster. Discuss!

You might want to support the lift a little more Schwartzkoft-ly. Maybe give it Steelworx throughout.

OK then- I'll look into the supports that each design uses, and give it a try- remember that I've only just started out with these tools though, so don't expect miracles right away  :3

Glad you like it, Fotep- I figured it'd be a nice return to form after such a long absence from here. For some reason, I always considered these types of coasters to be one of the ones I am best at making.
And who knows? Hopefully we'll see some more realistic designs like this one in the future, eh?
