It's only 11pm here but I'll say this earlier...

Happy New Year guys! :gawe:

I promise that you can't make a better park, so check it out!!!
Now that I have all of the expansion packs, I'll now have a look into it.

I'm also working on something with the packs. And rest assured, with the new rides/scenery, as well as a sprinkling of my ride-building magic, you'll all certainly be in for a treat.

Right, I've had a look around your park, Jonzy- now I will give a review. There are some quite good track designs in there (some of which I notice are replicas of IRL coasters?), but other than that, what else is there? I don't like to be blunt about it, but it's more or less a load of roller coasters dotted about on a flat field, with little-to-no external theming whatsoever.

Shaping and theming the park itself is just as important, helping the park to look much better (hence scoop more "Beautiful Park" awards, amongst others), add atmosphere to rides, and make guests much happier. However, it's not all doom and gloom- I like how you did some of the rides, and if you can make them interact with the landscape and theming a bit more, we could see great things from you in the future.

I love how I'm the polar opposite of Jonzu; lots of theming and barely any rides :P

OK guys...slight problem. I'm trying to find the screenshots and saved games in my RCT2 directory on my Lappy, but for whatever reason, they're not showing up-

There are definitely saved games in there, but I can't find them in the places I usually look. Anyone know how to show the hidden folders?

That is the same problems I have been having with my grandma's Window's Vista computer and my laptop. I don't know how to fix it.

DP. My latest park creation, it is a travelling Midway. It is 1 out of 8 of these types of parks I am working on.

You'll want some covered areas for people to eat in, as well as some on site buildings too.

Argh, cripes. There must be someone who knows how to fix them- I tried to transfer the files to my XP computer, but no. That would be too simple- why do they bother hiding the files like that?

The Breakdance is now released to the public
Here is the video

http://www.rct-3.org/files/index.php?page=EntryFile&fileID=1746

Just put the file that is in CSO in Style-Themed into C:\Program Files\Atari\RollerCoaster Tycoon 3\Style\Themed

And put the file that is in CFR (Folder named custom) into C:\Program Files\Atari\RollerCoaster Tycoon 3\Style and once you put that file there capitalize the C at the beginning of the file custom.

Edit: You need both Soaked and Wild for this to work

I do not own this ride

Keeping this here for tommorow.

I think this might help our problem- just how to properly implement it, really.

I prefered roller coaster tycoon 2. I beat all the scenario's in Loopy Landscapes, Corkscrew Follies (or something like that, I forget the packs exact name) and of course the classic version.

I really liked building a custom ride I called the Shuttle Loop V.4.3, it had 4 loops, and a corkscrew turn, before returning to the base rig. I was able to charge up to 7$ per ride without the little people complaining. I made so much money off it, I started giving away free food.

Eh, Shuttle Loop. If my RCT3 was still working, I'd show you how to do it.

Indeed- that was the one a bit like the IRL Thunder Looper at Alton Towers, wasn't it?

It was mostly based off of the Shuttle Loop pre built design in RCT1. So I rebuilt it then I added a bunch of scenery to make it a Travelling Fun Fair Roller Coaster

I prefer to do the same thing, with more loops, and other such stuff, before it goes in reverse and does it again.

That did remind me, how easily the people in that game are impressed though. They screamed twice ._.

I have been working on a remake of an RCT2 park Electric Fields in my RCT3 and it is going really well.

Currently I am on the second year\season since the park began. Right now it has 3 roller coasters:
Transformers: Dark of the Moon: The Ride  (Extended Coaster)
Driftwood (Wooden Coaster)
Hanging Terror (Inverted Harpin Coaster)

I also had a little story line set up with the park, the storyline is that Hasbro is a partner of the park, meaning I would be able to make Hasbro based rides (Hence why the Transformers ride is there)

These are the rides that will be added on Year 3\Season 3:

Sonic Rainboom  (B&M Extended Coaster)
Ramba Zamba  (Ramba Zamba)
The Caterpillar  (Junior Coaster)
Dreamstar  (Dreamstar)

I might post pictures in the future or soon.

Sounds good so far- for the moment however, I'm a little preoccupied with a little RCT2 project I'm working on- an even better GF93 Land  :3

(Although why have a cool B&M coaster, and call it Sonic Rainboom?    )
