It is illegal, as the game is still being sold.

UNLESS...

You have photographic evidence of you having the game at some point. Then It's legal.

My park I am making in RCT3 has a very bad Disneyland ripoff section in it. I made a little area like the paradise pier in my park with some rides like Disneyland, that being the Roller Coaster, Ferris Wheel and The Drop Tower (Sort of) With a bunch of other rides around it.

I used to play it a ton!!!! I made a ton of replica's of real coaster (since i'm a roller coaster junkie) and put them on RCTgrotto.

Well in my park I finally after a week finished that ride that goes through the pyramid and it looks really good. Now I am working on a new area

Current Rides being added:

Tron: Legacy the ride (Spliting Rollercoaster that will go through a Tron themed building)
1001 Nights (New CFR, replacing the Ring of Fire ride in my park.)
Velocity (A coaster kind of like the prebuilt ride Cobra in the Corkscrew type coaster in RCT2)
Pirate Ship (Pirates of the Carribbean theme)
Mini Drop Tower.
And one more coaster that I need to think of a theme for. The coaster is a launching one.(Think I might have a good theme though.)

Yo dawgs, new park in development. Pretty early on so far, but it's definitely pretty good.

Teh park gardens, with a nice building in the middle of the lake.

Teh entrance. Notice the architecture; I tried pretty hard on getting it to be good.

Looks nice. When I got RCT I just drowned the people all day! The park looks good though. RCT1 im guessing?

Ah yes I see. RCT was good until they made RCT3. The game was just messed up. The people were way different. I mean sure they looked better, but I think they shoulda kept the classic peeps. And you cant kill the RCT3 people. I mean wouldnt a RC going 125mph straght into you be INSTANT DEATH?

Maybe not, but I personally find it a fun game once you get the hang of it. And a fast enough computer to run it- took me a couple of tries, but got there in the end.

Indeed- there's a simple, yet satisfying joy in driving the dune buggy off a pier, taking a number of people with it as it goes.

All I ever did was the glitch to overlap paths and the track to make all the paths railways...

Make a path, lower it into the ground, build track where path was, raise land back to original height.

Ah, thanks. I'll give it a try- I've always wondered how to make level crossings for my railways.
