Depending on how much freedom they give you, this might turn out to be a ridiculous idea.

Knowing the IQ of a lot of the players, custom stages will range anywhere from IWBTG, to Super Bros Stage 1-1(In terms of difficulty, and appearance)

True, one thing I wish would happen though is that we can use the levels already created from the Hammer Editor. Some are just and I kinda get the feeling it would be impossible to recreate it in the new level editor (I.E. Portal Playground)

So yea... If they really DO give you so much freedom in Portal 2's level-editor, you can expect a lot of joke levels that are literally impossible.

You know those really masochistic rom hacked super mario bros levels? I'm expecting similar things to those to appear in this portal 2 editor.
Either that or millions of auto levels.

Wait you can play with someone on PS3 if you only have PC when it comes to Portal 2?

EDIT: 1000 post! I have now evolved into SUPER Heavyweight!

Yes, they implemented steam into the PS3 version of the game, so you get Steam Chat, Friends, etc and can invite to join multiplayer instead of being just restricted to PSN,

Apparently XBL was to problematic to do the same.

The single player wasnt too hard, just longer than the first game and all about finding the one spot you can place a portal.

The real puzzles were in the co-op mode and now with the upcoming level editor, they are going to get really wild.

Yea, Portal 2 really tends to auto-pilot the puzzles, as they just generally point out where to fire and what-not.
Unlike Portal 1, where you actually had to know how and when to shoot.

Regardless, Portal 2 is more fun mostly because of the Co-op

they are going to get really wild.
I'm expecting LOTS of IWBTG-esque designs.

I dunno', if it's anything like Megaman Powered Up, the stages will either be ridiculously hard, or literally impossible because some dumbass didn't test his/her stage.

Though it does seem really hilarious if you DELIBERATLY made a bottomless pit for a stage, just to cause rage all over the place.

I like how everyone else waits for someone else to get the game and play the co-op with them on Steam, whilst I just don't bother on XBL and play splitscreen...by myself...and win.
