You can buy a PS3 controller that looks similar to a 360 controller.

I am considering moving over to the PS3, but stay on the 360 for CoD.

PS3 just got Steam.
and just how can you use Steam on PS3? would be weird IMO.

In which case I'll have to cram the internals of a dualshock3 inside an Xbox360's controller. I CAN'T GET OVER HOW ANNOYINGLY UNCOMFORTABLE THE CONTROLLER IS ON THE PS3 O_O
what are you talking about man. maybe try hold the controller instead of the console. might help. there is also the possibility of using a PSP as controller on PS3, but i don't know how comfortable that is. normal dualshock3 controllers are pretty comfortable, unless you strap spikes and razor tips to them. that would be painful.

Gah third party products... They're somehow better than homemade though :P
i never had that experience!

other news, i now has LittleBIGPlanet2. arrived today. that's 2 days before the release! and i got bonus stuff with it! =D

You buy Portal 2 on the PS3, you get a code to put it on steam. You also can play against people multiplatform.

Controllers are just what you grew up with, you get used to one and the others seem weird.
Better than GK since 2009.

S_M pretty much stated what i was going to say in a way to long piece of text.
but to answer the question in your first point, i did not play on any xbox360, only once or twice on the first xbox. didn't really like the controller at all, but then again, i was completely used to the PS2 controller then. i also have no trouble with Gamecube controllers, even-though they are a bit big.

as for the vid posted earlier... heck yeah Steam + PS3! i now know for sure i'm gonna get Portal 2 for PS3.

i'm also curious for the PSP2, even tough i have never been a PSP fan, a handheld with HD quality? that i must see.

changed colour? from black to black? Sony never needed to change the design of the controllor. it has always worked very well. they even dropped the idea of changing it to a banana that they first had.

oh wait PSX controllers were lighter colours. but i started with PS2 which his black controllers (though the second one i got was silver, i liked the colour).

and in the banana controller case. i think it is more because people would try eat it. or throw it like a boomerang.

well, i do think you'll be better of with a PS3.

and.. build PC yourself. not get a downgraded laptop that they then call a notebook. eitherway, this is a thread that has to do with Sony's game console. lets keep it to that.

Why is Sony mixing PS3 with Steam?
Because they are awesome?

I couldnt have tought of a better way of bringing crossplatform in.

they are both worse then actual laptops. one being worse then the other. dunno which was more of a waste of money.

other news, i had fun on LittleBigPlanet today with 3 friends. shark survival maps with overly fast shark is so much fun.
