MARTINSVILLE OVERVIEW
Alex Valentine got the pole for today's race, with Ben Hampstead starting outside. The race started great until on Lap 9 Pirate Bull span coming off Turn 4. Bull was already frustrated with starting dead last, and the spin backed up most of the field. Bull just pulled into the garage and called it a day. Valentine gave up the lead to Howard Owler, but he quickly lost it to Scotty Farm, who was untouchable before Matt Armoset took the lead, and led a record 34 laps. Soon after, Cam Torc spun, and the resulting spin spun Austin Waters and caused John Chan to hit the inside wall hard, ending his day on lap 43. This increased Armoset's lead to almost a second before Charlie Bennet blew a tire on lap 60, and another logjam ensued. This caused Team Tea Break to catch Armoset, and after 10 laps Dick Gently caught the 33 car. Soon he was leading, and no one could catch him. Lincoln Burrows, who looked good entering today's race, had to pit early near the middle of the race, and lost a lap. He ended up 37th. Austin Waters, already having a bad day, had to pit with 2 to go, putting him 2 laps down in 39th.  Gently was leading entering the final lap, but Howard Owler looked like he was going to catch up. Gently however crossed the line first, winning Ford's first race this season. Ned O. Body, who entered this race with 2 DNF's and 92 points behind the leader, scored a top-5. Garry Orilla, trailing points with only 30-something points, scored a top-15 and nearly doubled his points total.

I dont really get how that works.. they should still be balanced with everyone else's shouldnt that?

For Example:

Matt Armoset: Speed=100

Kenny Cannon: Speed=82

That's almost 20% slower than the points leader.

Thus your cars are being beaten.

PHOENIX OVERVIEW

Lincoln Burrows took the pole, with Max Timber starting outside. Soon a front pack emerged with about 15 drivers in it. Not much else happened. Near the midway point, Nikolai Carbonotsky pitted for a loose wheel and the team emerged on the track a lap down. On lap 50, Pirate Bull, who started last a second consecutive week, was running in 8th when a tire blew. At this point he was too frustrated to even try to attempt to come back and they retired. The final lap started with Sandy Max leading, but he lost the lead to Ben Ambrose and then was passed by Matt Armoset on turns 3 and 4. Ambrose crossed the line first by a long shot, shocking everyone (Ambrose only had 1 top 10 up to this point, and it was at Daytona, no less). Phil Crago, who was 40th in points entering this race, started seventh and was as high as second but finished 23rd.

TEXAS REVIEW

Sandy Max captured the pole, with Scotty Farm starting outside. Soon however, Farm took the lead, but then Max recaptured it. A lot of position shuffling occurred. Around lap 40 things got more spread out. Not much happened, but a lot of people led including surprises Blair Anderson, Dave Bennet and Buddy Geek. Green flag pit stops occurred on lap 57, and it looked like afterwords that Alex Valentine would be the winner. However, other drivers caught up and Adrian Wells crossed the line first, followed by Blair Anderson and then Valentine.Team Tea Break did surprisingly badly, with only Jeff Hampstead and Dick Gently finishing within the top 20. Matt Armoset picked up aonther top-10 finish, and he is beginning to run away with the points lead. Only one DNF, as last week's winner Ben Ambrose blew a tire heading into turn 2 and took the car to the garage (right before the team was gonna pit too LOL). Pirate Bull, after a slow pitstop, was 1 lap down in 41st. Bull is fuming with his team after 2 DNF's and this run. It looked like near the beginning his fortune was gonna turn around too. The finish was by a pretty wide margin however.

POINTS! Matt Armoset is running away with the lead, can anyone stop him? The points got shook up a lot after this race, they will again with Talladega being the next stop on the schedule, a restrictor plate track much like Daytona.
