Wouldn't say this one was the most brutal, but I do remember playing this one- it's quite fun actually, particularly the bits where you get to kill the Asshole Victims in creative ways.

Although, I would say it's a good idea for a thread. I'll see if I can think of anything.

Yeah if there's one thing this franchise has going for it it's brutality other than that it's too difficult to be any fun.

17+ are the only ones who should view these ones as they are certainly not PG

The Elevator trap in SAW II: Flesh & Blood (The goriest death in the game, some others are pretty gory but this is the most brutal. Also because I could not find the videos for the other traps.)
(I could not find a good video of the trap, but the e3 trailer shows what happens if you fail the puzzle(sort of))

The death scenes from the first SAW game

Some Fatalities from Mortal Kombat 9

Any Killmoves in the Aliens vs Predator video game

There are probably more, but these ones I found most relevant to the subject

Galuf's death in Final Fantasy V.

He takes OVER 9000 damage even after he's already at 0 HP!  Exdeath is merciless!

...Oh, is that not what you meant by "brutal" deaths?  Too bad.   :trollface
