Has anyone played it? it's a vehicular combat game were you race cars, and get powerups like weapons. It was relesed one week ago and I just got it.

Meh.

Mario Kart Wii's terrible though. You can't deny it. It's not even about racing anymore.

Played it once or twice online, when I had a Wii and had some spare DVD-R's lying around. It was okay, I guess. Good ol' Mario Kart.

Meh. It's easier to win if you stay at the back. It fails. Party game. Requires no skill. Mario Kart DS or the original are the only ones i play anymore. :P

Mario Kart DS was the best one.

This game looks cool. I was thinking more of getting SplitSecond myself.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

Have to disagree with you there, it does require skill. In fact, probably more than the other ones because touching a wall doesn't just knock you the other way, it slows you to a crawl.

DS is good but I can't understand why the completely changed the drifting mechanics.

it WAS there SSG. i saw the pre-order action but no option to add it to cart. the next day it was gone. strangely enough the search on steam does give 2 trailers.
i have send a message to steam support, so now i just have to wait.

Well steam is known for getting games later than anyone else, I mean I have seen PS3 and XBOX 360 versions in a store a few weeks back. Might also be that its not even out for PC yet, because I didnt see it when I was looking around that store.

What's the deal with the sudden upsurge in racing games advertising?  It's been over a year since Mario Kart Wii, what's so special about this fiscal quarter?
