Anyone else here played it or want it, I am hoping to buy it soon. It looks quite fun.

I am hoping to get it because it looks like one of the more interesting games on Steam and also because of some of the custom stories look quite neat. I first found out about the game when I watched Tobuscus, yogscast2 and PewDiePie's play throughs of it so I know what it is a bit like.

A sequel is supposed to be coming out sometime in October of this year

I've watched PewDiePie play it. Fun to watch, but I have little interest in actually playing it. Last month I had a one-week obsession with the backstory of the Justine expansion.

I'm going to get this game soon, as well as AMoP. A Machine for Pigs just sounds like a creepy name, and I like creepy games.

Recently got it from the Humble Bundle, not played it yet, but I will probably play it soon (as long as I don't get sidetracked by something else).

Edit: Haha that was great. I lol'd when two of the Suitors appeared at the end of the hallway and PewDie turned back but got blocked by the Untrusted Statues. xD

Looks interesting. Is the horror more down to scary or startling - and is it actually scary? I've got a backlog of games to finish (Super Mario Galaxy, Okamiden,Half Life 2), don't know why I'm thinking about buying more. Anyways, can someone post an alert on this thread when they lower the price on Steam?

Yes, this game is really, really scary. It was 50% off a few days ago...

and a machine for pigs looks awesome but the dark descent will always have the best monsters :P

I have been playing through a bit of it, very scary.

Also, Morfar does some great custom stories, if you like to watch that kind of stuff.

The game is quite scary. There are also custom stories out there which are even scarier. Some just like the game, others are like, "Walking down a corridor, then flying naked man out of nowhere all up in your face."
