get 2 metal hinge wedges on the corners and maybe some angled skirts.

or wedge pieces if you have the weight (make sure they stick out far enough, you can use flipper segments for this or halfplates)

WAZZAP GUYS!

i haven´t posted too much lately, mainly because i have been working on my blades of fury entry, after TOO much building ideas i came to this 3 were the most succesful ones:

all of them have normal npc drive, i am showing the secon one but it got trashed by badnik due to having too much saws and for that reason being unrealistic.

so i stopped building my entry for a little bit and let my ideas flow:

so i came whith this extra 2 bots in the bundle! 5 bots at the prize of one post! that means its FREE!!!

also normal npc drive, the other one motor is pretty visible, or not?, also they need names.

SOOOO... what do you guys think?

You can reduce the chassis size on the last 2.

The no-name sawbot is terrible... I would suggest just scrapping it.

That's pretty bad, but not awful enough to be called a n00b bot.

@MassimoV: these are just the first version, so i will shrink it on the new one

@HurricaneAndrew: originally the middle noobinator was going to be my entry, but badnik trashed it because the chassis was too small, the motors being out of the chassis, and too much saws, so what i made in the no name sawbot was basically make the chassis bigger, motor inside the chassis and less saws, also the wedges are because because you cant use skirts as wedges.

the no-name sns has pretty exposed polycarb extenders holding the hammers and the drive could be better
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Ok, you only need one ant battery per spin motor and ramplates are bad in DSL. The VS's stabilizers should be placed out wide and the hammers don't need to be mounted on drums.

Yes, widen the stabilizers, replace drums with those hex shaped deals (maybe...).

I would also try to mount the Perm offset to one side to eliminate the poly extender.

The flopping around issue could be AGoD. Hit F12 in the bot lab to look at the collision meshes. If the green lines are somewhere that one of the hammers isn't, then the issue is caused by AGoD and there is no real cure for it.

Take a look at Craaigs showcase to see one style of VS, take a look at my showcase to see a completely different style.

I'd mount the hammers on only one drum segment so they create a X shape with each hammer being a leg of the X. Also i'd go for a wider stance with non angled sheets to save weight so stronger ones can be used. Also try dropping down to mag drive. You really dont need the speed for a VS.

while im waiting for someone who can fix my VS problem, i was watching pimp my ride and i came with YO DAWG!:

it was an old rammer that i had, and then i thank (xzibit´s voice: yo dawg i heard you like pistons, so i put a piston in you piston so now you can piston while you piston) it was going to be a joke bot, but then i realised it worked surplinsingly well.
now you can see how it broke EVERY PART of grog, and the it broke the disc itself, so what do you think?

try re-attaching the hammers. it's agod iirc

and you can shrink that chassis and get rid of the battlepacks. replace the small air tanks with bigger ones and put the npc's on the baseplate (make the top wider so you can use left/right npc's to attach to the chassis). i doubt chaining the pistons is that useful either. And you can do better extender work than that (one extender in the middle and hammers either side of that). Then you could do static stabilizers if you really wanted to.
