Having more than 5 weapon systems on a bot is pretty overkill, especially when you can't use all of them at once. It's better when you can focus all your weapons to a single direction (unless your bot's a horizontal spinner). Stick to 2 weapon systems so you can maximize their potentials.

I'm still a bit busy with programming homework, so I can't give much concrete advice. Just check out other showcases, preferably ones started by dudes in orange, purple and also by our almighty Clickbeetle. Those designs will point you to the right direction. :D

OOKAY i'm sure there's more things but...
1.try not to use ant blades, 'specially on HW (or whatever they are)
2.bit of overkill there with the weapons
3.check out other people's showcases to get ideas and learn
4.i would imagine you would need a bit more power there, not sure how many ants you have
5.Most people use techno destructo wheels or hypno wheels, perhaps you could get away with vlads on lighter robots, or if you just need the weight badly
6.usually people concentrate on the front of their bots for weapons
7.show weight and armour next time, perhaps some battleshots aswell
8.try using the AP's of the normal extenders instead of the t-connectors
9.people dont really use those weapons, see other peoples showcases to find out more about what to use
Welcome

Thanks to everyone for the advice!
I'll try to put them into practice!

Intat show you the stats of robots!

About the robots:
- The controls are independent.
- not too slow. In reality they have a right speed: D
- I used the small batteries, because those big robots were too slow because of excess weight!

As for the strike force:
- both robots have arms that cover (more or less) each side!
- both have a good strike force! In fact, especially Xenubi are feverish and points of damage! XD

For the rest, I will try to improve them and to show other robots in the future!

Thank you all! : D

Its good to use those batteries
The rule goes that we use 1 ant battery for 1 spinning motor
For the burst motors we use the big black batteries usually
Either get them to weigh 5000 Kg or 1200Kg
Have a look at the wiki for loads of tips on bot building
Try using the wheels we mentioned for the bot to be faster
Usually the metal door hinge make better wedges so try using them, for lighter robots you can also use the skirt hinge for weapon attachers

- OK, on the first bot, ONLY keep the hammer and side hammer in the front. NOTHING ELSE! You can cut the weight down and make it look a heckofalot less messy.
- Screw any weapons you have on the back. Wheel guards are sort of OK for looks, but that's IT.
- Use metal hinge wedges instead of skirt hinges for more wedginess.
- Change your wheels to Technos. I don't care how fast you think your bot is, CHANGE THEM.
- Shrink the chassis.
- That entire mess on the front NEEDS TO GO. Swap it out for 3 upside-down heavy snowplows for better trapping and protection.

- On the second bot, keep the sawblades, and NOTHING ELSE. You can swap them out for a solid 100cm disc with large beater bars.
- Screw any weapons you have on the back. Wheel guards are sort of OK for looks, but that's IT.
- Use metal hinge wedges instead of skirt hinges for more wedginess.

You didn't install DSL quite right if you still get the green stock baseplate. Unless you changed it manually afterwards, of course.

The bots look fine.  Sure they won't stand a chance against something that throws all their weapon KG in a single direction, but at least these bots looks more fun to drive.

Hahah! Those bots are awesome in their own special way.  They remind me of the orginal Robot Arena game.  <3

Your creativity is cool, clearly you enjoy putting a ton of thought into the builds.  There are more efficient ways to set the bots up, but you will learn with time.  Welcome to the forums man!

I personally love Xenubi. I think I drew something similar in a maths exercise book.
Out of interest, how many batteries does it have?

Nice robot, try and avoid using piglets on heavyweights though, they aren't exactly effective. I would also suggest replacing the pistons with more beater bars or razors or something similar
Spin motors only need 10 amps each. So you can get away with 4 ant batteries. 6 if those disks at the bottom are on spin motors. I can't tell.
I liked your other 2 robots because they let you remember you are still playing a game with more open ended possibilites than people would like you to find out. I think it's almost sad people feel the need to go "Build to 1200kg" or "No do this" because of rules which have been made up over the years. I dont mean to name names but Freeziez seemed a bit "DO THIS NOW UR DOING IT WRONG". Yes they are 2/3 times overweight and have too many weapons systems, but they sure look fun to play with.
