I noticed that 8 Storm pistons are very effective for flying(see my BOTM win 2 years back)

You can set them to fire at different times so you can make it tilt forward backwards and sieways, tough my desing lacks the ability to turn in air.

It would be overweight, plus I dont think an UHW would fit.

And you would need like 50 storm pistons to pick up a UHW. Funny bot there; I thought of doing the same thing (a good near-5000 kg bot paired with a really light distraction.)

A Flee Beetle strategy won't work in this tourney though... basically Flee Beetle was a one-trick pony special for Survival of the Fittest.

They protect the vulnerable aluminum extenders from HS.

I tried, but vlads are not big enough and tornados dont have enough grip for the copals to move at a decent speed.
