A new bot called Snuggles. Let us see if anyone can guess what it does.
Stats:
5mm Steel
NPC motors
Can beat most DSL bots
Was inspired by a video

I built that big robot on that TV show that time

I know, it is a horizontal hammer bot with spike clubs stacked one on top of the other. Or wait, he also might be a linear actuator powered bot with the same weapons.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

Thats a horizontal hammer, there is no space for even firestorm pistons(unless stacked)

It looks good, but wouldnt it get destroyed before the other bot gets inside?

definitely 10mm steel i'm guessing by the lack of components and its weight.

You guys did good it has 2 linear actuators, but only 5mm Steel. ICM got beaten before it could KO it(although it only had the top spinner left)
Inside pic coming soon.

Edit: The inside pic and the long overdue pic of Asplode II

Asplode 2 can barely flip anything, as the pistons are alot weaker than the Storms

I saw the name "Snuggles" and instantly thought "Huggy Bear".  Betcha one of Huggy Bear's fights is the video that inspired Somebody.

Bots look pretty good, but Asplode 2 is severely drive-challenged.  FYI, using two wheels on one motor doesn't make you any faster.

To lack feeling is to be dead, but to act on every feeling is to be a child.

Asplode 2: It actually drives alot better than you would think.
1. I put to wheels for possibly better grip (I didn't know if it would help or not) but the main reason was:
2. If a bot knocked off the outside wheel, there is still another wheel to drive with.

The inspiration was Madiaba's BigtimeWrestler bot in the Mad's Mods. The shape was inspired by Huggy Bear though.

I can't really see well...

No, wait, this is a Perm 64-powered drum... Are you really sure a drum will fair well in a tabletop? Because this perm is visibly attached to the chassis and IDK what you're gonna do with a vertical perm in a tabletop.

By the way, you seriously need to have less ground clearance and grippier wheels.

Wait, so everything that is attached to the baseplate has to stay?

If so, I need to start rebuilding.

Yes! Have a look at the rules.

You can't change/move:
-the chassis
-everything that is directly attached to the baseplate(excepted that you can rotate the skirt hinges, but not move them), the battery/airtank setup

You can change:
-everything that is attached to a baseplate component (wheels, weapon heads, skirts, etc)
-the chassis type of armor.

Okay, I actually made a drum-flipper bot. When it has faster wheels, it tips and is impossible to turn.

Drum and flipper? Unefficient hybrid. With the flipper flipping the bot, the drum will spin uselessly 3/4 of the time even if you get under the other bot.

I mean, in AI! The AI will fire the flipper every time it can and the drum won't do much damage .

It would be a good hybrid if the flipper was used just once to get the other bot on the drum. But this is something an AI can't do.

I think he might mean he replaces the flipper on the TT & the drum in battle. As in they're interchangible.
