I'm imagining that's beater bars on the weapon. What are the side panels on the left used for?

Extra armor cause the left side of the cube is left open to HS attacks

They do look rotated at a somewhat curious angle. I suspect it's so the Beater attached to the disc doesn't fall off first and take the other perfectly fine one with it.

Yea I was lazy with the weapons, but it failed for other reasons, like stability, speed, and power.

Whoa a DSL bot from sage.

For a failbot, it looks pretty good.  Probably too much weight on too small of a weapon motor though.  (10kg beaters right?)

A better weapon setup is to put beaters on the edge disc attach points by the end attach point, and more beaters on the face disc attach points by the side attach point.  That way they both hit at the same time and if one breaks, it won't take the other with it.

Tried to fix the failbot. Made it better but still gets knocked upside down way too easy and then can't battle worth beans.

Oh well back to stock

Woah that's like rammer-class weapons.  On a VS.  Scary... if it was stable.

You'd have to use a wee bit less weapon weight in order to make it more stable though.

You're using shell panels for protection ? There is better.

Though if it is for the rule of cool, it is fine.

I love the use of shell panels for protection. I think Sheck panels aren't given enough credit outside of a FSS. 'Tis quite a big chassis, though, but depending on the wedginess, I reckon it'll do alright.

nah it is one. Funny how none of my true popups are as powerful as my standard popups.

Bot actually needs 2 more batteries to be fully powered, as BSG's take 2.5 ants.
