Um. Realized I should do something for CC3, so I just built this thing. Alum1. 4 Ants.

I wanna improve it, any ideas?

Isn't it a little bit unstable, especially fighting in the CC arena.

Just use a 20X120 DSL Bar, it'll last longer than that polycarbonate skirt and extenders, and don't use mini wheels, go for hypnos.

Above each other.

The DSL bar was too heavy... and same with the hypno wheels. If you can come up with the 16 KGs needed for hypnos, please share.

Very stable, but can't self right if it loses momentum.

Just put the DSL Bar on, but use 30 kg hammers instead of DSL hammers.

you could drop an ant to free up a bit of weight

dont forget you only need to power the robot for 2 mins

you could also, reduce or remove the polycarbonate extender holding the half sheets and change the spinning arm to  just a DSL bar (shorter then your current set up) with the 2 hammers

which may free up enough for hypnos

Nice looking bot.
One thing- does the bar go through the back support? I don't think it does but I want to be sure.

Just a little bit, but barely. IRL I could either cut a slot or bend the bar.

Yea, if the chassis is hit it's basically done for. Good thing it's hard to hit.

What would you recommend Nary?

Plastic 1 or titanium 1 (Ti 1 is better)... Aluminium is just less efficient as a chassis armor material than Titanium or Plastic.

It's as realistic as putting halfsheets on the bottom of your bot.

Still i can just see it getting shredded. Does it fights well ?

Well, once is loses a hammer its doomed, but if it doesn't it owns. Rarely do the extenders get knocked off, usually the drive motors do though. Im gonna try something different with the drive motors.
