You're not the only one dude.  I was very confident in my DSL skills for a while, but ever since my return to school and the release of NAR AI, things started to slowly go downhill for me.  Not to mention that all of my attempts at building creatively have failed.

The bot actually looks good, though.  How invertible is it?

Ounce, if it helps you get over your chronic emo-ism, you might be my favourite DSL builder on the forums right now.

Also, Reier, welcome to my world :D

Not to mention that all of my attempts at building creatively have failed.

Lemmie say is once and once only:

The ONLY creative thing about a MW popup is the name.

I've yelled at you for being a whiny moron once, I'll do it again...

STOP COMPLAINING. Other people arn't as creative as you and yet you moan of your lack of standards. Name on person who would think of an "artwork on wheels" (Seriously, WTH is that thing and what should it be called?) like your Splash of the month entry? NO. Just because your bots can't beat a certain bot, does not automatically make it the sh**tiest thing ever to grace the RA2 community.

Let me finish with a closing statement:

Egomaniacs fail to see their flaws at all. You see flaws in everything you do. Either way, it's not a good thing.

P.S: For the lulz: Losing creativity because of the NAR AI? Nary, your evil plan is working, MUA HA HA HA HA HA HAAH!

The ONLY creative thing about a MW popup is the name.  I don't know, I've seen some MW popups that can be rather creative, or at least slightly out of the norm.

STOP COMPLAINING.  How was I complaining, and how was what I said "emo"?  I'm just in the same boat as Reier, and apparently, R0B0.

Other people arn't as creative as you and yet you moan of your lack of standards. Name on person who would think of an "artwork on wheels" (Seriously, WTH is that thing and what should it be called?) like your Splash of the month entry? NO.  I'm not striving to be the most creative person on the forums.  I just want to build slightly more creatively than I do now, like Nary has said.

Just because your bots can't beat a certain bot, does not automatically make it the sh**tiest thing ever to grace the RA2 community.  I know that, but I'm always trying to improve my bots.  If it performs well, but still has a small flaw, that's okay because I know it performs well.  Can't win em all.

Egomaniacs fail to see their flaws at all. You see flaws in everything you do. Either way, it's not a good thing.  Can you name at least five things that are perfect, absolutely flawless?  No?  Well that's because everything in the universe has it's flaws, big or small.

P.S: For the lulz: Losing creativity because of the NAR AI? Nary, your evil plan is working, MUA HA HA HA HA HA HAAH!  Not exactly.  Like I said before, I'm not striving to be extremely creative, just to balance out my building style.  On the other hand, I've seen some designs in NAR AI that I could have thought of, but didn't.

now I have less ideas than roadkill.

take a break and try something else ? I couldn't build anything good since wrecking crew so I took a month off building and focused on other things, just having fun with stock rookies trying to fight the default AI with such fail is fun lol then trying to modify them without rebuilds

eventually I got my "spark" back and I made a few original bots you will see/ seen in 1 or 2 up coming/ current tournaments  ;)

I am sure NAR 2.0 would push the standards even higher, if that means anything.

I am not sure about the efficiency of your wheelguards, Reier...

The ONLY creative thing about a MW popup is the name.

That is not true.

HEY GUYS I MADE A AWSOME BOT ITS CALLED TURBULE-

Uhh *ahem* I mean I updated Turbulence as my CC3 entry because I can't come up with A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G  W-H-A-T-S-O-E-V-E-R.

More stable. 1mm tite and 4 ants because with any less it spins kinda slow. With 4 it spins insanely fast. Faster than Haymaker. I might have to rebuild it because it's not a perfect cube but JB can answer that.
Comments?

you can always BFE the height a touch bigger but your not really making a gain out of it becasue you still have left over weight :D

I am wondering if the fact that the hammers are on the axles change something about the bot (apart from being a clever weight-saving idea...) ? I am mainly thinking about slightly increased damage since they spin.

4 ants because with any less it spins kinda slow.
