He was talking about worthy bots, not Thor 3!

Actually in retrospect, MD3 wasn't very good IMO. It just got lucky.
Still, good bot you've got there, R1885.

obZen's wedges are hardly elite level.

I do like that bot, however.

@Sombody: I don't have a pic ready(My comp is down.), but I did give Thor 3 a try. Of all the bots I faced, Thor lasted the longest and managed to rip off some of Flash's spikes.
@All: It can beat most bots from RAW. Only one gives it any real problems, but you should know who that is.

Is Thor 3 the problem one?

Anyways, HA! See Naryar. Thor is good (or just luckily designed) Damn its good to be back.

Sorry, but no, but Thor did come close. In fact, two gave it major problems, to the point that Flash can't beat them. Hint, the use Duel Prems. The flower from heck also gives it trouble.
Now for a team that I will use for Naryar's AI pack. Keep in mind that they are still in the beta stage.
Team: Exile

I will let you guess what they do.

LW - Vengeance: Hmm. Maybe the asymmetrical spinner would throw your opponent towards one side, reducing the wedge's effectiveness.

MW- Call of exile: Not bad. Is the small wedge is really that good for wedginess? (because it's a bigger target, heavier and weaker than a metal sheet)
Plus, the titanium half plate is really weak for the weight.

HW - TFOE :Well, not bad. Middle spinner won't do much damage when the two others will grind on the other bot. Maybe making that invertible rather than a srimech.

AW- Birth of Exile: HUGE chassis for an ant.

BW- Growth of Exile: Hammer looks really short.

HW- Exile: Maybe the best - still,  a good HS can make serious damage to that.

All of them look really pretty good besides call of exile.  I have not seen it in action so i would not know but normally the small wedge's are not that effective but none the less an easy fix.  Overall nice bots.

I will showcase my brand new bot, Gyroman4!

It has a faster spin-up time, and all round better bot. It can run upside down now! The only flaw is that the new weapon can't reach form behind it. I will post some battle shots tomorrow. Night all.

@Phill: Yup. The weapon spins above the motors and battle packs.
@Naryar: The chassis is large becuse I had it use T-64s before I changed to Astro Flights.

normally the small wedge's are not that effective

Small wedges have magic effectiveness in stock RA2 and it's no different in DSL.  You just have more options in DSL.

Every bot I have with small wedges gets under all other skirt wedges, every time.

Granted, I don't have all that many DSL bots with small wedges (skirts have so many other advantages, it's hard to pass them up) but still.

I can't say much for Gyroman 4's looks.  Well, actually I can.  While it's technically realistic just going by the rules, it looks ugly with that Perm belt floating out in space.  But it looks effective.

But is it more effective than the old Gyroman?  The Perm 80 is actually a step down from double Magmotors.  I'm not sure invertibility is a fair trade for power and rear protection, especially when the old version could self right.

To lack feeling is to be dead, but to act on every feeling is to be a child.

I'm pretty sure Gyroman3 was better than this. Faster, best motor, best motor protection, best chassis management, not overpowered, what else ?

I updated team Exile

Coming of Exile(Replaced Vengeance from Exile.): Powerful SnS, NPC fast. 1mm tite.

Call of Exile: It looks the same, buts its changed a heck of a lot. Same armor that Coming of Exile uses.

The True face of Exile: RPB clone. Needs better armor.

Birth of Exile: A rare 4wd ant. Copals. 1mm plastic.

Growth of Exile: Unstoppable 60 kilo hammer. Same armor as Coming and Call.

Exile: To be honest, I hated the old Exile. It was un-realistic, poor drive, and under weight. (Around 600 killos!) This one is, well, I will let you guess it. 5mm tite.

Can you post a bigger pic of Exile? It looks really cool, but I'm not sure how effective it is.

I almost named my ELBITE bot Exile, but then I decided to call is Arcarsenal instead.

It looks like a HW Backslash. In all honesty, beating El Diablo isn't that impressive...
