31kg for the shell, 2 for an anti-immobilizer, 20 for weapons, so 53kg total on a Piglet. That's partly why it's 1WD.

Back to the realms of UHW-ness, with the completed Tag Team of Search & Destroy. Both have Steel 10 armour and add up to a couple of kg under the 5000 mark.

Search has 16 NPC Fasts & Hypnos for epic speed, 34 Razors, 17 Light DS Teeth, 6 Iron Spikes, 5 Large Beater Bars and 12 Medium Beater Bars, all arranged in one enormous ramming rack on the front. 19 ants, I think, and it's probably invertible too. Too low to get Halfsheets on either. And the wheels wouldn't touch the ground if they were on, either.

Destroy is pretty much the same as last time, with a slightly altered spinner layout. Robot X Sword on top to try and stop it getting immobilised, and it produces a very nice optical illusion. The angled razors and top spinning razors spin in the same direction, while the beater bar & light DS tooth assembly in the middle appears to spin in the opposite direction. =D Not really significant, I know, but kinda cool.

The plan is for Search to dart around the arena and push the opponent into Destroy, which should hopefully gutrip it to kingdom come.

I had an idea like that a month ago. Was planning it to be a HW multibot though.

Change Search's name to Seek.
And they are both cool. Extremely cool.

But it depends if he is going for the 30STM song or the metallica song. Personally, I'd go metallica. :P

The reason I chose Search is partly because Click already had the bot called Seek in COTT. I think Search & Destroy sounds better, personally.

My Mechapocalypse Entry, Rusting Embrace, which I think I have to showcase by default.

398.1, 3 Ants, Blue CB, NPC Fasts. Can't remember the armour, I think it's Plastic 5. Perm 132, 50kg Hammers. Another half-assed but cool skin.

Why the wedge?
Surely it's too short to be any good?

NFX, unless that VS is spinning downwards, that thing's gonna get outwedged more than SFTW after 8 bottles of scotch.

Really? If Higher Physics is correct, then the upwards motion of the disc should force the wedge into the ground.

It shouldn't really matter anyway. I'm just entering for a laugh. =P

Well, Dune didn't work like that. I'm just telling you from experience, keep the wedge if you want, get outwedged, see if I care. [/melgibson]

He could angle the weapon it to increase stability and wedge effectiveness, like I did of Immortal Cheeseburger (lamest ripoff name ever). That should counteract the lower fracture of his weapons compared to the sledge rammers.

But surely the momentum would not force it into the ground, and one hammer will force it down while the other forces it up, creating an equilibrium?

But physics doesnt apply much in RA2 xD
