LOL i was going to suggest to jonzu a similar design to replace his Plazma :P

But if this gets inverted against a gut-ripper... hecko, 400HP motor getting ripped off easily and bot either getting trashed either teleporting OOTA.

And i doubt it can take on good sledge rammers :P

400HP motor

It said 4500HP. =O

That's the other thing it doesn't like. But it's good at taking their wheels off and rendering them immobile.

GO DIAGONAL CUBE. =D

I've also tested it out in regular DSL 2.1, and it's performed just as well. It actually beat Arc Pounder and Hammerhead Shark in DSL 2.1. I'm reasonably confident with it so far. Just hope it works as well under AI conditions.

Well, when I started DSL (back then I was quite bad, say like GRW builds now) I thought 360 Arc Pounder was awesome.

Trying to build a Hammer robot, just in case I end up with it in RA2TC. Here's what I got to so far:

I think it looks kinda cool, but there are 3 main problems with it. 1: The wedges aren't that reliable, and they sometimes start out in the ground. 2: It CAN self-right, which is why I put the poly skirts on the hammers, but it normally takes a while, and it's very hit-and-miss. 3: The turnspeed is PAINFULLY slow, which I think might have something to do with the angle of the chassis. I remember Keystone was built vertically, and that would barely turn at all.

Building with the chassis at strange angles does affect turning. The same problem was present in Stiletto Violence.

yeah... you can sometimes be lucky on the angle

basically its the piece of code that reverses movement when upside down (since the wheels dont actually push the robot across the ground)

it essentially gets a tad confused on angles and drive motors and does all kinds of different things (doesnt turn, slowly, reverse, etc)

I don't quite get the setup. Is it a Full-Body Hammer?
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

Yep, FBH. Kinda inspired by Click's Timber II from RIMP. I can change the angle of the chassis fairly easily, though.

wont look as cool but yeah... play with the angles like I said..

just decreasing the size of the angle small amounts at a time to find an angle you can get away with..

Use lighter hammers, NPCs and Technos. This is too slow to be good.

But yeah it looks good... apart from drive

That looks like SD's. Is it a hammer or FBH.
