I guess if you want to use to interesting glitches inone bot it's good. I like the idea. And on the VS, is two ants enough?

^^ Non-cheap way of using flails^^

It's quite awesome btw. But can it be considered realistic ?

I'm guessing it can. If the wiring and fuel pipes were tethered to the inside of the discs, but a little bit of slack was left over for when the pistons extended, or to compensate for the axles. They'd probably get torn off dead quickly, but it would be doable.

I haz answers  :gawe:

first off props for doing it with flails but (I am sorry to inform you) your not the first to use servo pistons to make the flames reach out further.

https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/topic,1679.405.html

the increasing speed seems to be a strange way of doing FB's Gyratory glitch, though not that same thing thats what I would put it down to (wouldnt say Servo boosting but its the Gyratory effect no doubt)

finally your axles are trinity-ing same as my Gyratory Reborn did to achieve even faster speeds.

that should explain it all still and original application though  :gawe:

Cheers, Joe. =) I'm not sure if anyone had combined the two glitches before.

Also, some updates for my undercutter team. Wheels are Tasty now has a Perm 80, smaller anti-immobilizer, still 3 ants, still 249.0 and looks like this:

And Beetle Biter has lost an ant (3 ants now), gone up to Steel 1, and changed the Weapon System. Large Beater Bar & Piglet, with a Shark Tooth to keep the weapon off the ground. 174.3, IIRC.

Try Hex Plate with 6 razors instead of the setup you have ATM.

Whamster 2, Realism slightly questionable, 800.0 kg. Take that, weight limit.

Three main problems with this bot, one is the drive, TWMR3 Drive Motors really don't give enough push when you're up against someone with NPC's. Secondly is the weapons, if I have them spin upwards, the wheels get lifted off the ground whenever I move forward, so I have to spin them down just to move, and then I kick myself up in the air whenver I hit anything. Thirdly is the armour. Plastic 1. As is often the way with my bots, it's a bit of a fail, but it looks cool. I just wanted to rebuild it after S_M posted the original somewhere.

Hmm... try removing that Mags and the panels directly in front of it, and downgrade some of your panels to get the weight for NPCs. Then just rearrange your rear batts and attach your NPCs onto the baseplate. :D

Again, just some random messing around to see what I could make with Side Panels.

798.6 or something, Tite 3, NPC Normals, 4 ants. 24 Heavy DS Teeth on 2 150cm Discs on Perm 80's, few problems with it, though. Spinup time's not great, it's got static wedges, and it technically can't self-right. But it's fun to watch it scooting around the arena like a motorcycle being driven by an idiot.

Very imperfect IMO (no offense :P). You should find a way to get Perm 132s in there since Perm 80 is as you have experienced, too weak for such a heavy system. Instead of that heavy angled wedge system you have there, just use rectangular steel sheets off those frontmost panels (which means those panels have even more protection, which means your wheels are even more protective against head-on attacks).

Can you post another shot of the setup? We can probably help you minimize extender work while retaining the shape.
