Real nice bot, Nar.
Where do you find the time?
Input is appreciated. :)
-Arrogance is a quantity devoid of quality...
-As a client once told me "This is my story, and it's sticking to me!"
-Relationships these days are like the 'Arrival' section of the airport: a lot of baggage is being revealed in one place, and not a lot of it is being correlated to its real owners...

but I think Sage's bot might outwedge it *hinthint*

What ???

*Goes FFFFUUUUUUUUU-*

___________

@Mad : Well i built it pretty quickly... the most time-consuming part was rebuilding the chassis like 10 times for finding the smallest dimensions and height (especially height) i could fit the bot in.

And i find the time where you find the time for writing crazy awesome .py's

Edit: Talking of py files, i think i'm going to hybrid Popup.py and OmniMultizone.py and use the result for this... i'm not happy with the smartzone.

True, about the time... I like facilitating tourneys and promoting the game.

If you need a hand on the AI.py work, let me know... I've some sneaky 'defensive' thoughts for gut-slasher engagement.
Input is appreciated. :)

I think i can do this on my own. I most likely won't get better at modding RA2 if i rely on others for relatively easy tasks.

I might need your helpful advice if delving deeper in modding however. I'll contact you if I need help !

NARYAR.

I can't use your Dummy FBS .py without a bot! Send one! Unless the controls are EXACTLY the same as what FBS_1 uses...
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

Well I'm waiting for your AI Naryar, but popup.py worked well, not to full potential though...but then again during a trial and error AI testing almost all the bots got under some of the best wedges in NAR AI. Mine didn't get under any wedges period, possibly because I don't have wedges *spoiler*

HELL YEAH INVERTIBLE JUGGLER

Night Terror 2 - 8 ants, 5mm Ti, 2 halfsheets on the bottom for protection.

Invertible, but the wheels leave the ground when driving forward inverted because of weight distribution issues.

Not tested yet - will probably rebuild it because of the problem stated before.

Yes it's a TS inverted, and the weight is (i think) 799.1.

Ewwww Overkills...
IDK about the bot.

I had to use Overkills for invertibility.

And yes, with a little testing, the bot isn't very good. Will rebuild it and hopefully it will be better.

Dark Messiah - 10mm plastic, 7 ants, normal NPC drive. I think you can guess it has 2 small wedges at the front...

As expected, the single spinner's recoil is a major issue on a fast'n'wedgy bot - most likely going to free weight somewhere and get 4 NPC fasts.

hmm I feel that chassis shape could waste a bit of weight

I built it like that because i know wedges are more efficient if you put them really forward, and it's not really wasted weight since the additional kg's invested in the chassis go in the total chassis hitpoints.

Might trim it down though.

its mainly the front section that could be shaved a bit, it could be done a bit different...

I dont really know ? the chassis is probably fine... the robot just "feels" a little off your standards

I built that in less than 30 mins you know...

And yes, the front chassis  probably needs some work.

Dark messiah? Not a bad game that...

As for the bot, im kinda not surprised that the recoil spins it off course. Not bad for a prototype though.
