Paint it green and call it little mac?
lel
10/10 good advice

switch to beta or something.

Does that burst wedge even works?  If I were you I would make that as far forward as possible.

I dunno if it works. I'll have to test it.

but yeah single beta + dual side wedge with stronger motors should be fine. I'll see what works better.

This is Red Baron. Chassis is 3mm plastic and full of air tanks and 4 batteries.I boosted the storm's power three times for this bot, and while it flies it does so in a completely uncontrolled and chaotic way.

But I know what's wrong - it's the bursts which are not well plaed compared to the bot's center of gravity. so when i push the forward command the plane tips downward. Maybe I should just use less, more powerful bursts so it's easier to balance them.

It can be done, but it just requires far more work than this to fly in a controlled manner.

also just don't use wheels with planes, else it fails spectacularly at moving on the groundd.

the mighty naryar? using drive motors for weapons?
 :p

but really that looks fun as heck to drive, can we get a video of how chaotically it controls?
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

I Like it. Due to my interest in WWI and WWII aircraft I feel obliged to comment on that bot.

Why don't you try hoverpads? It would certainly make the flight more... comfortable. Unless you want the plane to land.

It rolls left/right (with the pistons on the edge of the wings) very well, it moves forward pretty badly and it can't go upwards correctly. It's not very fun to drive... yet.

Maybe I should add more controls, but more than 4 is a bit annoying to drive.

also it's not a weapon, it's supposed to be drive :P but I don't like the sound the NPC's make, it doesn't sounds like a plane at all. I just used npc's due to practicality.

Hovercrafts would make the whole design pointless, and yes I want the plane to land and takeoff.

Useless. We have the obstacle course arena for planes.

although maybe.... working plane + runaway arena + cannons = combat flight simulator, Ra2 edition

also the problem with  pistons is that they are reciprocitating and don't exert constant force.I'm thinking of some special hovercraft to apply a constant force forward, like mounting hovercrafts on the back of the bot, and then two powerful, heavy spinners (1 horizontal, 1 vertical) to steer with the spinner's recoil torque.

Or you can use clicks custom piston if you want constant force.

That armour won't last long and the drive setup is unnessecarily awkward. Cool though.

I meant the exterior armour.
Additionally, there are popups that are probably just as good at beating gutrippers and much better against flail-SnS, given from what I can see.
