[Edit] I have an idea! You could try putting the drive onto a free axle, so it can run when it's flipped around. AGOD might hurt that one, though.

I tried that in stock to make Forky invertible with 2 HP Z-Teks and Shinies, that failed so misreably that I cant even describe it. The wheels were far off the motors and spun normally there and when flipped the motors would stop the wheels from making contact because of how the wheels were. You need to do it yourself to understand what im saying.

The axle you're talking about's probably perpendicular to the Y-Z plane. I'm talking about an axle perpendicular to the X-Y plane. :D

Yes, it's a pinner, and i originally planned to have 3WD in a similar triangle configuration (one wheel up in the air) but i realized the AI would not drive well if it drove 2/3 inverted with that upper wheel.

It's in NAR AI's team Red Arcana (but hidden :P) You just need to add a 3 in Teams.txt.

OK i just understood Reier's idea. I'll try.

And here is the (unskinned) thing that should have been entered in BotM if I wasn't so lazy

3mm plastic, 4 ants, whole drive is on an Etek. Named as such because when i try it, the external drive starts to spin CCW slowly automatically and with no motor active.

Fun thing is that in fact the 3 drive Mags are the weapon motors and the Etek is the LeftRight drive motor :P

I was also planning for making it symmetrical, also a triangular splash and a vid... but alas.

Four v2.4 bots that will be in the same team

3mm titanium. Half-ripoff of S32's TAR VS but i had a similar design a long while ago (it was slow as

so did no worked)

3mm Ti, NPC fasts. That was really just to make a double hammer with NPC fasts.

It's decently good at pinning but not damaging enough...

LW Centrifugal Fury. 3mm plastic, 2 ants, weapon Mag. I don't know how to make it have controlled movement though :P (and AI it)

And the last bot...

5mm Ti, 6 ants, 25 pointy tips, and there's a bottom Ti halfsheet.

It's not very good - i think the 80000 pointy tip efficiency isn't worth the normals :P (but it doesn't drives straight !)

You know, you can still shrink Lightspeed's chassis lengthwise. There's a gap between the front and rear motors. You could use the weight for a tiny amount of top armor. :D

Also is the skirt hinge trapper on Double Trouble really worth it? You could just ditch that and go for more weapons.

For Double Trouble, yes the skirt hinge is worth it against wedges and for more stability.
