OK, so i am making a true popup team for v2.3 and have 4 of the bots built (be prepared for another fail AW though)

5mm steel, 24 ants and of course NPC fasts. It's pretty good excepted for the wedge

5mm steel also, 14 ants. Not as good as the SHW (still pretty nice) but the wedge is bleh as well.

I have no idea what to do with the remaining weight though... maybe BSG wedges or large JXs.

Yes. It is particularly good against shell spinners.

Belly armor on the HW?

Huh. Might do this but i just hope it won't ruin my ground clearance.

I need some empty space to get a chassis wedge and put these hinges.

This for putting them closer to the ground, hence having slightly more swing length and protecting them more.

As far as my testing goes, those skirt hinges only make a marginal difference. How do you angle them, maybe its different then mine?

Then you are doing it wrong ! Press F12 and turn the hinges towards the inside so their rear collision mesh sticks out, somehow like MCB wedges

And cheating... well yes, and not really realistic, but i don't care :P

cheating... yes
can we stop it... no

nit pick rules make it to difficult to learn, use, etc so they have to be. I knew about that mesh for a long time but thought it may have been passable.... I checked out most meshes for stuff.. never know what you will find (im using another unique mesh component on my BBEANS robot ;))

Nope thats about how I angled them, maybe a bit steeper on mine though. And mine were all at the same angle (about the angle of the first one)
