Build what you want. Don`t let others say what you have to do. they can still tell you what you could improve but just build what you want!

That worked for me ;)

I also like that his username hasn`t got numbers in it. I hate numbers in usernames

I'm not sure how many batteries it has, but it only needs 7.

1 per spin motor
2.5 per BSG.

(Sorry if batteries have already been mentioned to you.)

Your weapons are too long, the razors are not doing to do much damage.

Please don't make him turn it into a popup. We really don't need any less originality here.

I still want the spike strips back.

...You don't get it, do you ? It's not a matter of originality, it's a matter of discovering robot types. He'll develop his own styles when his bases are strong enough.

D:

the weapons are good, you could do with a lot more though. if you want to go down the popup road then use some small extenders (multi extenders or poly/alu) and attach loads or razors onto them. you might want some frontal protection aswell. a simple skirt hinge and titanium sheet will do if you have enough weight. you may have to drop down to only one wedge, which is fine for middleweights. it wont be too generic because of the shape of your chassis

the best flipper motors are generally beta bursts, they require a lot of battery power though. the cheaty judge burst motor is powerful but isn't used much in standard dsl. though if you spam a few bsg's then you should be fine :P

is this bot don't lost all razors in a fight before do a damage thought

Right, here's Scrapheap. Its way better than the piece of scrap I started with.

(Image removed from quote.)

I wanted to ask for the best flipper motor. The JX burst looks quite powerful.
First of all, before even giving you any advice, please make your bot pictures bigger(i can barely see them)
Now, advices and advices:
1. for the weapon, just use a 20cm polycarbonate(or aluminium), then attch the razors to it, and then when it's filled, attach another 20cm extender next to it(here's an example):
2.Use hypno-discs wheel, they'll give you faster movement speed and lower ground clearance(which equals to a better wedge)
3.Put external armor(which is a 30kg titanium sheet(or a 40cm or 80 cm steel/titanium skirt)  attached to a skirt hinge, see the above bot on how do you attach it.
4.Use either 5mm Plastic or 3mm Titanium(they're the most practical armor in the MW class)

i'll let the ones who are better than my in popuptry tell you more advices.
nary will obviously rep me down again because of this
And finaly, read this guys showcase:https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/topic,1988.600.html

If you have nothing better than to pour irrational hatred on a bot type on a new guy's showcase, especially with such a poor reason, and not contribute to the topic, I suggest you stop posting here, or things will go badly for you. Am I clear ?

What's that you say ? "Popups are generic and overdone" ? I haven't seen much popups these days, mind you.

Also, saying that a bot type is generic is nonsense. There is much variety inside a bot type, actually there is as much variety as the collective imagination of the community in regard to that bot type. The fact that popups tend to be built generic is that because builders are not thinking outside the box enough with popups, not that the bot type in itself is "unoriginal". You want popups to be original ? Go and build original popups instead of whining that they are generic.

Now enough of this argument, because it is going nowhere. Let the guy build and give him building advice. He will choose the important choices about building in DSL by himself.

I will be watching this thread, mind you all.

It's a sad world where you congratulate people for taking the easy option :P
Regardless of what has been said, if your aiming for flipping bots you could still benefit from some front defense against spinners.

Meet Max.

Max is probably the best thing I have ever made on RA2 by far. It is so far the only thing I have made that can get another bot OOTA.

Cranky Spanky sound that out the hard way!

Armour is Tit 3 and it has 25 ant batteries. And about 30 flipper segments (I lost count).

Please, ridicule to your heart's content.

That looks SO epic.

If you want to get under each other bots, you can try metal hinges with polycarb sheets. You can't see them and they'll help you get under other bots.

No weapons ?
It's IRL and looks epic without weapons.

One of these days I'm gonna lock you up in a room and blast some unnerving music through the walls, and when you come out, you'll never lay your finger on a single flipper segment ever again.

loljk but yeah, you have much better choices for armor (try shell panels for connectivity options) and even the flipper itself (some of the replica arms should have the shape you're looking for).
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)
