robots for blood brothers

Both have plastic 5. Flamethrower is the DPS, and the rammer is the tank.

You know, putting a ⑨ on the second bot doesn't exactly go well with the fact that it's a flamethrower, but whatever. I made these both in 5-10 minutes each and fully expect the to flop in the first round. Hopefully elementos, el chicken and lloop don't send their bots.

VG showdown entry

St1 and npc fasts.

Here's a tentative entry that I need ideas for:

Pl5 and npc fasts.

Need suggestions for what game I base it off of. BUT... it can't be based off of any of these:

and nothing boring like "hurr bioshock infinite" or "durr pokemon silver/gold".

That first one better play the 'Lol you died' song when it wins a match.

I don't know about the second one. What games involve spinning in circles? Only suggestion I have is Monster Hunter, because of the longsword's spirit combo attack or the hammer's charge attack, but that's my only idea right now.

Hah, there was (in fairness) no reason to do any internals. I really like the shape of the feather, not sure how well it'd translate to real life but it looks cool here.

2 ants isn't enough any more. You need at least 3 ants to power your bot for a whole 3 minute fight.

BBEANS runs 2 minute fights, so he'd be fine if he made this for BBEANS. (He probably didn't, but I'm just saying.)

I might try putting a heavy spike in the middle instead of the 60kg hammer, so you have a high DP weapon for the initial hit and strong hammers behind it for secondary damage and defense.

nar ai robots

LW - Flapjax. Pl 1. It's not really that good. But then again, it's a flipper. What did I expect? Also seems like mag snappers are still trash.

MW - Slashatron. Plastic 5. Spike strips are pretty decent in DSL 2.2, does nice damage when it feels like it. I would have put NPCs on except for THIS

This is the farthest back I can place the left NPC. Right NPC seems to not be broken though.

HW - WVDE LOAD. I only just noticed that the II in WIIDE LOAD was supposed to be roman numerals. Does decently.

AW - Plug. St 1. Slowest AW rammer ever. But it has a lot of weapons so it'll win automatically against most other AWs anyway.

BW - Socket. Al 3. A lot more fun to use than Plug, and does more damage too.

SHW - Nuclear Fusion. Ti 3. Spins fast and sweeps everything, typical SnS. Did anyone else notice the larger N12 wheel? It has pretty good grip. All of the wheels in DSL 2.2 seem to have bad grip except for the gigantic wheels, meaning that wedges (which need speed to be good, and typically use smaller wheels) are slower, while anything that uses the larger wheels will be faster, like SnS's. SnS really didn't need to be faster than they already were to begin with.

If you haven't noticed, all the names come from the HIGH VOLTAGE team I built for Reforged. Skins will come later.

the new slashback is too slow. grip has been nerfed in dsl 2.2 so stuff is less fast.

the rest is good. I particularly like Plug.

and noticed that it had roughly as much weaponry as a LW. Seriously, the original DSL ripblade has more weapons than that and it was built in DSL 2.0 something like ten years ago. You got outbuilt by mid-2000's era Clickbeetle junior.

Plastic 3. The speed of the NPCs makes up for the fact that it uses a perm 80. It just zips to the other end of the arena at popup speed and box rushes the opponent. It's surprisingly stable. What also helps is the changes to the hammer head that removes its normals, and actually having the skirts' HP increase with weight.

I feel like it would be better with 2 sledgehammers instead of the disc, but IDK if that would be ripblade-y enough.

Also rebuilt the popup.

Now it's plastic 3, but not like that matters when I have huge 18K armor plates on the front. NPC fasts means other robots can go up the wedge now instead of getting beached.
