ants suck, you should be using 2 battlepacks for that

or a black batt and an ant

Thought i'd get back into the swing of things with a simple bot type.

NPC-F, 2 BSG, 8 razors, 7 ants, Alu 3 and severe disappointment that sledgehammer armour didn't work well. Plus around an ant's worth of extra weight if I need another.

Looks good to me.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

looks solid, although the wedge might be a bit unnecessary (titanium skirt or something instead?). can we get some internals?

real talk when are we gonna make a mod of dsl 2.1 where mag snappers aren't totally useless cus i hate bsgs and their wonky ass collision mesh
don't need any other changes

it reminds me a bit of missile test. but better.

the old guard could band up try to mod a version of dsl for a more dsl-s crowd. but that would require more interest in Standard than right now i feel.

reier i'm like 50 years old with 8 kids i don't have time to play ironforge

u might be able to save a little bit of weight by using 2 battlepacks and 2 ants if space allows. a very minor weight save but could help i guess

I still prefer DSL 2.1 for aesthetic and variety purposes. also ironforge is a havok fest.

Maay be a few days late on this one

Space is a bit tight for battlepacks. Main realism concern is whether or not it going through the skirt hinge holding up the sheet is okay or not. Honestly can't remember.

Snap. I'm still annoyed I started building DSL like a month after BBEANS 7 signups ended so I missed it.

I think people usually don't care because in real life there would be an obvious workaround, compared to weapons clipping through motors or batteries
it may work better with shorter extenders for the razors, since if they are lower down on your wedge the longer multis will probably push them instead of the razors actually hitting

Testing it now - one advantage to the longer extenders is that it can selfright more easily.

The bot I made to warm up before the popup, regular NPC, mags, 4 ants, Steel 1 so it's fairly glass-cannony. 398.2kg.

cancelling you for building a nazi juggler

is this one more hs than juggler? if not i would swap the weapon orientation so that the beaters are angled the other way and the razors are on the other side for less resistance since i don't think having them that way rough really helps at all damage wise and just slows the weapons down

It currently feeds things up the robot, hence the orientation. You're probably right in that reversing the spin and adjusting the weapons to fit that would be better.

nah the current spin direction is fine, more that the weapons will scoop more effectively from the wedge if the razors were on the other end of the beaters and the beaters were angled differently to how they are now

why not just use hexes or discs (or even drums)?

also pretty sure npcf+large ant is better than npc+mini

my math might be off though
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)
