yeah something to always be careful of is that if your wheels are too big compared to the chassis it'll havok right out of the arena on impact (aka the "nasty pickle" glitch), so try getting smaller wheels like ants and see what happens, then see if you can get 2 poly sheets on instead of one
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Random original bot
It's a top poker

Insides

It has.
2 Ants
1 Large CO2 tank
Wedges are titanium
NPC fast
Random flipper maker to try and help get bots on top of the disc. it doesn't work.
The chassis is U shaped
Scoop attached to the disc because i could not find any other way to attach it
Plastic 5
it weights 398.6
And it has empty space but IDC because it's just a concept bot.

to get something to help bots get on top of the disc, first move the piston back a bit, ditch that skirt on the back, get a skirt hinge, and then rotate the skirt hinge until it actually helps bots to get into the disc.
btw, does the wedge have AGOD?

Damn, someone's obviously been looking at the GTM skype group and stealing mah ideas! D:

I think you'll want it a tad wider. More weapons wouldn't hurt, and you could replace the Steel extenders holding the plough for flipper segments. I expect you could ditch the plough all together and use a large skirt that doubles as a back stabiliser and trapper. That sould give you a hefty chunk of weight.

And if you can Trov, you can Trov the chassis part that holds the NPCs for some weight.

just saying top pokers are pretty useless. If you want a good gutripping poker, go the Insectoid way.

Updated version.

Theres now a flipper segment in between the skirt hinge and the titanium sheet.
The point of that being that it's at a better angle to get bots on top of it.

I got rid of the scoop and just used a skirt.

And added more weapons.
The BB's might be useless though...

And no AGOD.

you only need a 80cm angled tite skirt for this. With the weight saved you can try a flatter weapon combo(beater bar attached flat to the disc+ds light/razors).

Let better builders judge Gauche's advice before you whack him, Freeziez.

I am getting seriously sick with the school of thought "Gauche posted in the showcases... IT MUST BE BULLsh** ! Let's whack him !" that I have visibly started cause roughly half of his advice is bad.

Hell, even himself is getting used to this. THIS SHOULD NOT BE.

His advice is exactly what I would have said. Though LN could lower the skirt down a bit.

Judging by the dancing, a storm burst seems a little too powerful for this. Try a VDMA to see if it's less bouncy. If not, you might as well turn it into a generic juggler really.

I gave it.

A smaller trapping skirt.

A VDMA instead of the storm burst.

And added more weapons.

It bounces less with the VDMA but it does still bounce.

Instead of flipper makers, you can use beater bars or 1 40cm tite/steel skirt.
Also alum is bad, plastic and tite are the best choices if you war looking to get the most protection for your weight.
*Edit* Could have sworn I saw flippermakers...

White Pistons are one of the few things that I would recommend putting inside the chassis when possible.

Also lighten the extenders and use heavy plows.  You don't need steel extenders when it's almost completely covered.  Also Plastic 5 or Titanium 3 are better options.

Mounting everything on a 4000HP DSL disc in the center is a huge liability.  Since the edge sticks out a popup or gutripper will almost always be able to hit that.  Remove that, add 2 multi extenders on the 2 corners to mount the plows, connect the bottom titanium sheet to the halfsheet.  and 2 more multi extenders, 1 for the piston and another for 2 titanium sheet on top.

You can do lighter extender work if you get rid of the disc and only use ME's.

A walker i made.

The legs are powered by low power servos.
The polycarbonate extender is to keep the chassis from spinning, The chassis still ends up spinning after a few steps though.

And A video of it walking.

Somehow i managed accidentally post this in the battleshots thread and not here  :ermm:
