hows the damage if you flip the bursts around and make it a true popup
About the same. I dunno, I'd need to AI them both to get a proper result, I'm just driving manually.

If I flip them around then it's not as good, the first version is better.

Reusing the chassis from an older robot to make a new robot and stuff is fun.

So apparently 1500x1250 equals 1162x968 now. Interesting.

All the different types of ring that can be put on Dominotrix. Least happy with the Saw Blade ring because it barely gets out of the chassis, but the rest are nice enough.
Ten offensive rings, one defensive ring, and one that's some kinda mix of both.

Honestly I don't see the point of any of them excepting the dual hammers or dual typhoon teeth. Why not put that effort into making a cool new bot, rather than tacking different bits onto your nearly year old ring spinner?

I’m all for having many configs and gradual improvements on previous bots but at this point you should just either move on from this design or make a sequel.

Probably because I'm trying to get people vaguely interested in a tournament that's all about interchangeable weaponry or something. Also it's a lot easier to make new rings for this robot rather than a brand new robot from scratch that is unlikely to even get entered anyway.

Another byebot for Swiss Army Warfare, Slambulance. Took a while to actually get into the feel for building a modular robot but I don't think it's too bad.

ehhh i don't really think it's that good, chassis is really big without any protection plus the extender work isn't really good. i also thing 6 motors is a waste a weight, but i guess it doesn't really matter that much since it did its only job of winning that challenge.

Enhh, already did this half a year ago. 'Tis not hard, plus it could've been done a lot more effectively.
