Moving this thread to the showcase. FYI, everyone here has just one thread in which they post all their bots, rather than giving each bot its own thread. That's called a showcase.(Interesting historical sidenote: I think Metal Virus was the one who started the showcase fad.)As for the bot: that's a replica right? Needs to be a bit wider, and I'm pretty sure Slap em Silly had 4WD, but the lightning spike is perfect for this.
Could we se some insides?
I can't do skins to save my life, sorry. But I do recommend instead of putting the bot up for download and attaching the photos, use the image host on the main page (www.gametechmods.com). You can then copy and paste the first link it gives you, and you can put images into your post like this(Image removed from quote.)Much easier than downloading them :P
Just to help out a bit, I'll give you a bit of building advice :)Okay, so these are replicas, so the usual 'shrink the chassis' and 'build to the weight limit' deals don't apply, but most of the other rules still apply.Long black batteries (as seen in the 2nd bot) suck. You're better off just having an ant battery for each spin motor (this will even work with the biggest spin motor, the dual perm), but you do need full ampage for burst motors so, what I usually do, is put a few extra ants in.Drive motor wise, Piglets aren't great - they're weapon motors, and similarly I think with slimbodys. NPC Fasts are a very popular option here.Blue control boards weigh less than the green ones, but are slightly larger. They're generally more useful because of the weight advantage though.
you do need full ampage for burst motors
Remove these ballasts you're wasting weight with them.Quote from: Craaig on January 13, 2010, 07:28:51 AMyou do need full ampage for burst motorsAbout three quarters of the indicated amp drain. A Beta burst works well with 170 amps.

That uses DSL parts. FYI, there are some people around here who might will definitely flame you for that. Just warning you. Keep DSL and the original game seperate.
I'm guessing he just didn't install DSL correctly.
Oh. Forget what I said then. I thought this was a stock showcase because of the background.
