I made a list of stats to some of the components a while back.  It doesn't include everything (and I have no intention to continue making the list at the time), but it's better than nothing.

After all the revisions and testing this is the final version that I ended up submitting to Joe for CC3.  I shot for durability and control over other factors.  With piglets the bot does not do as much damage as faster motors... but it is more durable in the long run, so the chances of survival are higher.  I also stuck with the rear wedge because (as Joe noted) this design might help the bot considering the arena attributes.

The wheel change turned out to be nice and I also took out the extenders in favor or DSL bars.  Had some weight left over so i threw a hinge with polycarb on the underbelly for a little bit of protection there.

You probably would want Tornados over Grannies. Same weight but grippier.

Tried 'em. But then the bot was not invertible. I am not a big fan of Grannies... but they allow the bot to still move around if it gets flipped over.  If i realllly wanted to use Tornados, I would have to rebuild the bot and make it smaller.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Tornados and Slipper has the same grip, or 1.3.  And Slipper has superior collision box by far.

Wouldn't the superior collision box make the ground clearance higher though?

well, I assume if someone want a smaller wheel they would have went for vlad.  So between granny and tornado when the purpose is to be bigger than vlad for invertibility I would say granny is better.  The thing is collision box doesn't seem to affect how close your bot is to the ground  (S3 and Small motorcycle wheels are good examples, they have enormous collision relative to their image size).  My guess is that the collision can go through ground but not the image.  What is does affect is rather or not the wheel moves the bot.  While the affect of the hexagon shape to wedge isn't noticeable and would requires further testing, it does have less of those "wheel not responding" problems as the collision is touching the ground more often.

Apart from the collision mesh, the only technical difference between Grannies and Tornados is the 'resistance' value.

Now if only i know what it means...

@Reier- I don't remember saying Grannies were bad - aren't you smart enough to go and check the txt's ?

So... much... top armor... this bot is the antithesis of Kheper.  I better not run into you in round 1.

Props for being original though.  I like the "invincible tank" theme.  Personally I would have tried to get a Ti half sheet underneath the chassis to protect the bottom (that hinged skirt won't work well because it will just flex out of the way).

the only technical difference between Grannies and Tornados is the 'resistance' value.

Now if only i know what it means...

Low resistance makes the wheel skid and slide more when turning.  High resistance makes for sharper, more controlled turning.

To lack feeling is to be dead, but to act on every feeling is to be a child.

Thanks for all your feedback on Haphazard. Click is right, I should have used a halfsheet on the bottom. d'oh!

Here is my entry for the UK vs USA tourney.

Splash speaks for itself. GO U.S.A.!

Been working on it all day... I wish I could paint the DSL bars on the side, but I have no idea how to edit GMF files.  Fares excellent in battle against any HW replica in DSL.  I tried to design the bot with Large DSL teeth, but it ended up enormous and unrealistic.  I opted for the small DSL teeth instead and they are just long enough to clip the floor every now and then, but not too bad.

And yes... the original bot has a semi-transparent top (dark plexi) So I made the top of the replica semi-transparent too to view the DSL components inside.

Pic of the actual bot. It competed in Battlebots season 5.  http://teamxd.com/steelreign5.html

Yeah, When I saw the bot I got all excited "Woot! I can make a replica using heavy DSL teeth!"  But after a couple of designs with the heavy DSL teeth it just looked toooo huge. I had to make the chassis almost twice as tall and as a result the rest of the bot has to be larger to keep the proportions right.  With the heavy DSL teeth the whole bot ended up freakin' huge.  I wanted it to be more to scale in relation to the bot in real life.  Wasn't an easy choice, but yeah those teeth match design wise... but size wise they are just too big IMO.

That bot looks very effective as a normal DSL bot too, JD.
