You know, I think I'll try to- I've got something of a knack for IRL building.

It's rather slow for a SHW rammer... aka, you chose your wheels wrong.

For a minor update, I'm going to report what I'm building for the Heavyweight bracket once BB5 rolls around- a new and improved Juggernaut, Juggernaut II.

Whilst the original looked good, its lifter was too slow, its mobility wasn't the best, and had precious little in the way of defence other than those plates at the front. So what I'm going to is completely overhaul it and add the following things, amongst others-

- Better Tyres (DSL 1s)
- Better Wedge
- Stronger armour
- A more powerful weapon, in the form of a Judge-powered Flipper- I finally worked out how to get a Judge in there without it havokking like crazy.
- More defensive/offensive weaponry at the front (whilst keeping its IRL appearance)

And other more subtle changes in the design, to significantly improve it in terms of both looks and fighting ability. Discuss!

Sounds like a good plan. Would, however, be a little better if there was images to go along with it, rather than us being left to fill in the blanks ourselves. =)

Yup. Don't worry about the images- they'll be coming soon. Just need to finish building the flipper  =D

And because for some reason I've woken up early, I figured I may as well make myself useful and post the pics. Behold-

And here's its stuff-

For whatever reason, it veers off to the left when driving. Any way I can solve this? Once it's sorted though, it should be quite a mean pusher.

Usually, if you remove all of the wheels and then reattach them it will solve your problem. Although, if you have to rotate any to fit them on, this is what is probably causing your problem. In this case, you'll have to spread out your wheels a bit so they all fit without any rotating.

Thanks mate- I've tried it, and it worked. Now it goes straight, and hopefully should be more on-target once it's AIed.

So for now at least, once the time comes, I'd say that Juggernaut II is well suited to be a real contender in the HW division, and hopefully send NFX homeward to think again

looks unrealistic to me, particularly the Tornado spikes going through the npcs.

They don't actually go through, but they're actually there for additional weight- without them, the flipper havocs everywhere.

It's actually not that elaborate- just a Judge Burst, small extender and flipper part configuration, really. Might add a cross-section once I get back.

Looks very nice. I'm a little bit curious as to how much the Iron Spikes prevent bots getting up onto the flipper, but it looks execllent nonetheless. Would look a little better if the Iron Spike on the left wasn't rotated like that.

Glad you like it, mate- although, the spikes don't actually intrude in the flipper's path as much as you'd expect. If anything, they're very good for causing extra damage whilst ramming opponents. But yes, I did notice that as well- I'll straighten it out a little more soon.

Here's my MW Prototype-

Bloody Tosser. It's got a powerful flipper for a weapon, driven by a Judge Burst, and is armoured in 3mm Steel- whether or not this is enough, I'm not certain of. Inside-

Four Drive motors with small, grippy tyres gives it excellent speed, manouverability and ground clearance for its size, and self-rights very quickly. So far, it's proven itself to be quite a strong contender- in testing, it's flipped HWs out of the BBEANS2 Arena.

GF, I love the name :3

So, if the bot itself is called tosser, correct. So when it flips it has a b0ner...

I have a dirty mind. Anyway:

Let's shove this one in Nar's face, shall we? It's effective, it looks good, the chassis is very tight around the components...

I'll shut up now, but you DO need to build more often, boss.  :approve:

I just worked out that the flipper arm is precisely 30kg.

Good one there, boss :)
