Yeah I snapper load using copals as well. Most times it's on a skirt hinge but it works well on a BSG, and it works better than a RAD.

Perhaps. Maybe once we're in there, I look forward to our confrontation, facing you personally on the battlefield- one gentleman warrior to another, in respectful combat.

And then I will snap your spine.

The initial prototype for my second entry-

DESIGNATED HERO, an S3-style Vertical Spinner, weighs about 398kgs, with 5mm Plastic Armour and 4 ant batteries, with two Minion discs for weapons.
It's good in the destructive department (well, for IRL bot standards), but its main issue is that it keeps flipping itself over when the spinners get up to speed. Anyone know how I can solve this without compramising the destructive capabilities?

I'd swap the Dual Mags for Piglets, personally, which'll save you a bunch of weight that you can use on small stabilising things up front, or increasing the armour/drive and adding weight at the back.

Looks great, though. =)

Thanks guys- it's now currently under a spot of overhaul whilst I take the points into consideration. For the time being however, I finished the framework on War Bastard-

I might get round to painting it soon. However, I had a little trouble with reattaching the bar, so I went with a Mechavore Disc instead.
From the looks of things though, it was quite effective, gnawing through the MW replicas I tested it on quite effectively. It's also slightly faster with its new tyres and motors (those RAD-alike ones which I keep forgetting), and with better defence at 5mm Titanium.

Nice work!  I really like those.

On the VS... if you are concerned about it flipping itself with too much speed on the weapon, you might have to set the maxspeed setting lower in the AI.  That's the only solution I can come up with other than adding a tail to the bot (which I think would ruin it).

Thanks for the comments, Jack- I'll see if I can arrange something about the AI with Badnik once I send them all in to him.

Oh right, I thought it was flipping over the other way. Maybe simply extending the spinner to further in front of the bot would help with that.

Actually, it tends to flip over in different ways depending on circumstances. When I rev up the spinners, it rolls forwards. Yet sometimes, it tends to flip over backwards on hitting something.

Right. On the discs or the drive?
