What's a display tournament? Is that making videos of the matches?

uh just so you know the acronym RAW is already taken, and it was used 2+ years for (sage's) tourneys RAW and RAW 2, which were dsl hw and stock mw multibots
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

New Tournament:

Combat Robot Championship

New Arena:

I am considering what format to use for the tournament, I am considering formats that guarantee more matches per bot.

You might want a Round Robin format for that, then. Every robot fights every other robot at least once.

I do like the reskin, though, especially the area around the perimeter.

I'm still considering the tournament format.

News update: I am going back to standard DSL parts for the time being (no cheatbot2). I'm looking forward to making 'normal' bots for a while at least.

[offtopic]I might be a little late, but I'm guessing you're a big Metal Gear Solid fan?[/offtopic]

I think that CRC arena skin looks pretty sweet, it reminds me of something but I can't put my finger on it.

Hello all I've been busy over the last few weeks and I've had a couple of technical issues lately. Have had a good days building for the first time in a long time.

Srimech, of course, as well as bot stopper. It's not shaped like a flipper.

It's pretty awesome looking, but 4WD Copal on a MW is just absurdly slow for a side hammer.

Thanks for the comments.

I updated the skin:

and put it in a tournament:

Unfortunately the lack of power cost me in the end. I hoped I could get away with it thanks to the power of the weapons but not quite. There will be a rebuild next week, possibly heavyweight.

You really need to do a display tournament, Classicus.

You really, REALLY need to.
