Nothing on them? 'Kay :P
Well, this is just an idea I had, it's only a prototype, and will get flamed.
The idea has probably been covered before, but I was thinking of something along a tentamushi lines... and came up with this.

For some reason, even with the highest chassis, nothing larger than an 80cm actuator would fit, and it won't stay in the up position for long before collapsing as the trap is obviously so heavy.
I'm thinking of trying this as a SHW using a burst (the starting position is when the trap is down, then it's fired to open the trap), but I wanna get some opinions.
It's pretty fun to use against low bots, trapping them and pushing them onto hazards at your will, especially into the pits and flame jets (eg RW arena)

Okay, so you might not like/want to comment on that lot, but I REALLY NEED SOME HELP here.
ReeKoiel flips when turned sideways - is there any ways I could stop this?
And also, I'd need some extra weight - would it make much difference if i took the bear claws off?
(The casters on the side help mobility when it's on it's side - but when its on it's top, they really don't help!)

And yes, you've all seen this before, it's the re-work of Pink Nightmares.

EDIT (20 mins later): Has my thread still got aids or something? :P
People don't seem to enjoy commenting here.
Even when I need help XD

To stop a large VS from flipping, you need to have a rather large wheelbase. I'm guessing you've seen Nightmare before, so try and emulate your extender work after Nightmare is built. Right now, you're wasting alot of uneccesary weight that you could put to much better use, like better armour, etc.

Just be a bit patient. Sorry if it takes a while, but maybe no ones thought up a way to help you. Or maybe they're really not interested. Or maybe your thread does, in fact, have AIDS.

Anyway, how do you mean 'flips'? Do you mean it tips over (which is what I assume you mean), or that it havoks or glitches or something?

If it tips, then why not get rid of the bear claws, and find other ways of making extra weight for more extenders coming out the side for side support? This may or may not require a redesign of some sort.

And, in a bid to give what may actually be useful info, I heard those ram plates your using at the front are really bad in DSL 2.1
Good evening.

And I will work on the wheelbase/ramplates. Thanks guys.

This is wider, but it was still unstable, so I reworked it into an almost-Pussycat-style 'always lands on its feet' kinda thing.

Comments? All are welcome, good, bad, criticism, etc

The extender work still looks scary.

If it can't self right, try using a longer weapon extender.

So messsssssy...

You'd be better with 2WD drive at the rear and front stabilizers (on the top and bottom of your bot for invertibility)

After many, many, rebuilds, I have Shinigami. And if you think it's messy, you might be able to see the previous version in the 'picture' thing.
Is there any other ways to make it less stuck when its on its side?

And thanks to Naryar for the idea on the rear-drive.

PS: A Shinigami is a Japanese God of Death. :P

:D Indeed it is. That was what i was aiming for. In fact, that disc was sized down from the original. I just wanted a huge, heavy duty, VS.

...Why the heck do you waste weight and power on 4WD when your bot is effectively a 2WD?

I was talking about an invertible VS with just 2WD at the rear, and 4 stabilizers (metal skirts), 2 under the disc and 2 over the disc so even if it's inverted the disc won't touch the ground.

Finished.
Again, thanks very much to Naryar, this thing probably wouldn't have EVER happened if he didn't help out (Even if I ignored his suggestion about 4 stabilizers and used 2 :P)

The weaponry on the back is to deter anyone going for the motors. Not very deterring, I know, I just needed something there cos I can't protect them that well.

Shinigami II
