Feedback time :

Blood Orange - Decent enough i think... it also looks cool and i like the name.
Codename clam2 - That's not probably awful, that's awful for sure !
BW flipper - The BSG should be BEFORE the wheels because here it's counter-weighting and ruining the wedge.
Frozen Yoghourt - Decent enough also. The razor's positioning looks random.
Fuel - Probably better. I don't still get the point of the double blade expected for cool looks.
Mecha Eel - You might want to add another ant battery or more armor with the weight you have.
Powerhouse - Needs a stronger weapon motor !
RisingSUN - Still needs 4 ant batteries :P
Torque reaction hammer - Yes, these need drive motors.
UFO - Yes, i call fail on the weapon setup as well
8WD rammer - I am quite sure you can snapper load the hammers on the skirt hinge directly without using flippermakers. I made Landslide's weapon setup with BFE but that was because of laziness, i'm quite sure i can make it with snapper loading alone.

@Badnik Consider it done.
@Nary I shall work on a few of them, a few are just plain write-offs in my opinion.

Seem as though I have a SHW Tourney coming up, I thought I'd better work on something.

Seems a lot more stable than Mikado (who I hadn't seen before making this, but Martymidget pointed out they look almost identical), and can really throw things around.

It doesn't. I got the balance right. Yeah, it might tip when it hits something, but when the other thing is flying and this can usually get back on its feet within 2-3 seconds, it doesn't really matter :P

So is this going in RIP2?

It's a possibility. Might change it and make something better.

EDIT: Just realised this is the old version. The newer version has 2 flipper segments in place of the second dsl bar out from the chassis which push the skirts out a bit further and a fair bit further forward.

This looks like 3 times better than mikado.

I should rebuild it btw - though that bot could do for a nice replacement :D

Much better than my previous main HW (Mecha Eel).
4 ants inside. Steel 5 armour. 2 Half-Sheets on bottom.

You do like your Mako-lytes. =P

But it looks like a pretty good machine. Might you not want to put one of the side panels around the front of the motor?

I don't like to think of them as mako ripoffs, they're more my own thing with no wedges etc. I might consider putting a panel on the front, thanks for noticing. And yes they're on both marty. I think they just add a bit of extra damage, and it bought the weight to 800 too :p

Why must all DSL VS be called Mako clones?? THIS IS NOTHING LIKE MAKO!!
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

Thank you Sage XD
I am fighting for my identity, this is just the way I build.
It works for all weight classes too, unlike the Shinigami design which I've ditched in favour of this.
It's a Craaig-lyte ;D

To me, a Mako-lyte constitutes a dual VS with axle wedges.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

To me, a Mako-lyte constitutes a dual VS with axle wedges.

unless it has bike wheels a box chassis, axle wedges and two perm powered VS hammers.. its not a mako clone

we called the axles wedges "make style" but nothing should be judged when so different.

if anything its closer to XR
