2 MeatTs aren't enough for weaponry....
Maybe make the drive closer to the chassis and have less armor and batteries and more weapons.
Looks cool though.

I don't get the point of all that armor on the motor, when you have a wide open chassis and 50kg worth of weapons.

Know that no amount of armors can save you after all your weapons break.

Fair points. I gotta stop making bots that are just aesthetically pleasing to me ¬¬

obviously you haven't seen how the shini takes care of business :P

on a side not, Shinigami never lost the duel perm so you could take a chance with removing the disc

replace some rear protection skirts to a light material (aluminium?)

could do with some protection (say.. shell pieces) on the long extender connecting the rear.

and see how Whyachi hammers are angled ? angle them the other way so they protect the motor some more

still love it though :P

Thanks for the support and advice there JB :P

I think, possibly, after a rebuild, the Shini's for RA2:Backlash and a possible CC3 entry, I may be saying goodbye to the Shini design, I think.

well if it puts you in a more positive mood... notice that Backlash video I posted prior with the VS robots throwing others around ? they only have 2 Whyachi Hammers on the disc (unedited) because of the motor speed they may not damage as much but have loads of kinetic energy

Nope haven't got the opportunity to see it in action.  So I can only guess based on how fast 50kg worth of weapons usually break.

Craaig need to send a team to NAR AI or something.

Shinigami had the tendency to go up and over other robots and hack up the rear of the robot (which was usually exposed) the only times it lost without the rest of the robot being destroyed was against ROBO's pop up it was difficult to hit the chassis

I see.  Guess I am one of the few people who puts full body armor onto everything, I simply don't like taking risk.

Aside for the purpose of look, I still think the chassis is better hidden in the back functionally speaking (making use of all the armors).

Slight bump.

Say what you want about it... every negative is a positive for you guys, as I've entered it.
I like it. It looks cool.
It's probably the first bot I've built that can beat a lot of the NAR AI (yeah, took my time, I suck, I know :P)

I'm happy with it anyway, it seems to do the trick ;D

It's great to hear some people liking my bots for once though ^_^

I think its otherwise good but the motor is just too exposed. It will get ripped off in a second.

As far as the Battery pic tells me, it's really exposed.

That's also a really old bot.

Currently sporadically working on possible CC3 entries... I got a lot of coursework/exam pressure at the moment (this is also why the RIP loser's bracket hasn't happened yet)

In my spare time, I built this thing, that I quite like... hence the bump.

Flippers may not be well recieved but I like this one - and I dunno what kinda bots are achievements to get rid of in NAR AI so I just added a few random eliminated things :P
Blatent steal of Firestorm's style... inspired by 123STW's talk of Firestorm Flippers in his showcase.
1 big black batt, 3 ants. It's also an old weight, is around 390kg now (it originally had 1 ant batt, now has the 3)
