I went with the spikes, i was testing against MOE, whom of course is slow, as soon as you hit MKI with any force it gets completely destabalized.

also with MK1 because of the heavier weights if one gets knocked off, i should imagine it throws the bot around the arena because of the lack of balance and the the fact that the Dual Perm is one heck of a motor :D

Aha, New Boot,
You got a new pair of boots? That's great! (Ok sorry for the pointless comment.) Those bots do look nice, and MrkIII defenetly looks like the best one.  The other two look quite powerful as well, however.
im just waiting for meganerdbomb to come along and kick things into gear.

Hey everybody! i've been back into building a bit recently, first bots i've built in a long time, anywho, thought i'd show them off to you! In reply to Naryars question, sadly the pack was all but lost in a harddrive crash, however, i did send goose a very up to date version a couple months before i lost it, i'm hoping he still has it somewhere! otherwise i'm in for alot of work again!
Comments pweeze

First up is Nurse, she may not look like that much but she works awesomely, its extremely hard to take her parts of as they all have huge HP values, and the chassis is so far away from the front of the bot which is always helpful, she runs of 2 stacked bats and all attachments (excluding plow) are on her "hat" Class-HW

Then theres another new bot, a rammer, it hits pretty hard, and can knock most bots out with two or three hits (yet to get a 1HKO yet) the only thing that im not so happy with is that it isn't invertible, good thing is its not that prone to flipping over, its pretty stable considering its immense speed (i used the new uber fast things from DSL2.1) Class-HW

Finally, heres a bot i rejected for BBEANS, its pretty decent and can beat the majority of bots through sheer flail, but its pushed around too easily for my liking. Class-MW

Thanks!

wow. for the rammer, couldn't you use a different armor for the front (maybe more weps?) so it would be invertible? and the BBEANS reject looks pretty underpowered....
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

Nurse looks cool, and so does the rammer. No real suggestions from me apart from what sage said.

Nurse looks like it should be pretty destructive.

Nurse looks solid for nonrealism standards.

the rammer I dont understand what so ever.

The MW COULD be solid, just i dont know why you dont use 2 mags, even if you servo enhance them. then you could go with 4wd or more batteries or at least SOMEthing.

Nasty bots all.  I agree that Tetrax could probably be made invertible with a few simple tweaks.

I have Go Betty Go on my computer since that was Barbie's original entry.  And I can say that it's tougher than it looks.  It actually has four ant batteries (still underpowered but a lot better than two) and that blade hits HARD.  Like Barbie said though, the main problem is that it gets pushed around a lot, and it's so powerful that it often flips itself on a hit.  The weight of those wheel guards could be put to better use, I think.  Perhaps for some sort of additional stability, or a srimech, or extra batteries.

To lack feeling is to be dead, but to act on every feeling is to be a child.

how heavy are those wheelguards? I dont feel like opening my game and i know the Panic Attack ones are like 5kg...Saving weight for grippier wheels could be a good bet too.
