Another two robots.
please tell me if they are already a type of bot that people know about or if they are new because i had been going to enter one of them for S32's challenge thing.
first we have Test Bot 1
this is a sort of double diagonal spinner.

and now we have Test Bot 2.
this is a horizontal drum.

i know theres alot of emtpy space on the second one and there not a wedge but it was just a rough design to see what it would look like.

please comment on them.

First isn't bad, but you should use less batteries (say 8 ant batteries) and if you get a hit on these angled connectors it's pretty much the half of the weapon that is gone.

Second doesn't looks realistic and you should use more batteries (10 or 12) :P

Oh and i won't classify these as completely new designs... the first one is an angled VS (there's alreadu a page for it on the wiki so it's not new, just uncommon) and the second one is a simple HS with an uncommon weapon design (done before as well : see Thunder God on the wiki).

As Naryar states above, both have been thought of and implemented, you just do not see these kind of bots very often.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

I almost didnt see the bot due to your awesome game skin, Is that one of Joe's or did you make it yourself?

First thing I notice is that all weapons go trough the motor, try to avoid that in DSL.
It could be more effective if it was invertible.
The long Ramplates actually are WEAKER than the normal ramplates due to some mess up in the GMF file, remove all of them and replace the side ones with snowplows and add bigger wheels.

Quite nice for your first SHW. And sweet UI as well (where did you get it?). :D

But from my experience, Vlads on NPCFs are still kinda slow. Change the Vlads to Technos and the speed will be decent enough for its weight class. Also the 30kg ramplates suck due to incorrect coding in the .txt file. Use a steel skirt or long weapons for side defense. And, I think it would be better if you would swap the top motor for a heavy plow and upgrade your weapons. Next, change your static wedges to metal hinge wedges (they'll increase your wedginess dramatically). And, clean up your extender work on your weapon motors. Use a multiextender and a flipper maker instead (more HP for less weight, and the ME has infinite HP when attached to the baseplate).

And good job on the space management, but you can do better than that. ;)

Still unrealistic with the discs, mount the discs to the other attachment point on the motors. Its othervise better now, but you have quite alot weight left to use.

And now you can shrink the chassis. Also, halfsheets and 20kg ramplates also suck due to balancing issues. Use skirts or DSL bars or long weapons for side protection instead. And don't use anchors. Use multi-extenders instead since they have infinite HP anyway when inside the chassis. But don't use them when they're outside the chassis since they can easily get ripped off. And again, mount your wedges on metal hinges (static wedges suck) and clean up your extender work (the smaller and less extenders you use, the better). :D
