What are your motivations to play RA2?

I have lost most motivation to build, but I guess it's only a natural, final stage of RA2 building.

I had more motivation when I was playing stock cos I could make anything and still win, but when I came here and saw everyone else's bots, I kind of retired from stock and became a DSL n00b instead.

I've generally lost most building motivation. Every now and again I'll fire it up and make a few VS advances (eg Pyrexia) but otherwise, meh XD

I'll build for challenges, tourney's and AI packs, but thats pretty much it. Unless ty somehow goads me into it.

I build irl bots so i can keep myself occupied and play a game that simulated a robot wars battle well

and if i have way too much spare time or i have a good idea in my head.

But yeah, I build just to see how I can push the envelope of a given bot category (i.e. Flail Sheck Spinners).
