Basically, you break the extenders at the bottom, it turns into a spikeball.

Absolute Chaos Of course
Alien Queen Obviously
Alter Ego III (First 9-mace bursted HPZ LW HS) Yes
AntonYYYm (started the BSG flipper craze after its BBEANS6 performance) Nope. There was no BSG flipper craze.
ATOM (another example of what great building and AI work can do) Not sure about this one, yes it was awesome back then but...
Bane X (The iconic DSL LW FSS) Yes
Barbed Obsidian (Luigica's best work according to Sage) Maybe
Bisector (made invertible and spin motor hammers possible) Yes
Blue Ruin (undefeated in its time) I don't think so, nobody remembers it enough to be memorable
Borg Queen (First Starcore bot ever) Maybe
Bumble Bee (popularizing crawlers and creating controversy) Yes
Caesium (If not only for being the most memorable FSS in NAR AI) Nope. That's a silly reason.
Centrifugal Fury (Some of the best AI work ever done) Nope, it failed. Get another of joe's ai bots here.
Child's Play IV Of course
Cheap Norris (When your robot gets a line in most tourney rules, then you know it's memorable) Yeah
Clockwork Hydra I am doubtful about this one
Crawler (first crawler) Yes
Crimson (began the Pysc Popup challenge) The original pysc popup ? Of course
Dark July (popularizing the "weapon spam" style of building rammers) Yes
Dark Void 2 wtf is that
Death Port 2 Why not
Death Warrant (One of the best and most recognizable Stock HS of its time) Yes
Death of Angels 2 Yes, although i'm not sure but BBEans champion should be good enough
Destroyer (most versions built of a single robot) ...maybe, I'm not sure
Digital Apocalypse Unsure about this one. It's only memorable because it has been memed up to the max by RFS.
Diarrhea Of A Madman Yes
Domanating's Crocodile (Great example of a successful walker, one of the coolest bots out there) Yes
Drumblebee Yup
E-Rupt Yup
EMERGENCY Quite obviously
Enfilad3 (Probably the robot that began DSL MW popups as we see them today, BBEANS4 runner-up) Possibly, I'm not so sure
Enturon (Consistently one of the best DSL BW Rammers out there) Yes
Event Horizon Yes
Final Z (successful BBEANS6 bot, spawned numerous clones) nah, was nothing out of the ordinary
Flaming Whizzer Yes
Flying Guillotine Definitely
Fury (Iconic Stock MW HS) Of course
GOD MODE (First Hax Mode bot) I don't think so
Gyratory Revolt (first bot to use servo boosting) Maybe
Hammer of Justice Of course
Hazardous Contraption Yes
High Flyer (Wild Robots competitor, famous and probably the most iconic robot in the series other than Uber Chuzzle) eh what the **** is this
High Stakes (First Octane Glitch bot) Yes
Hope No More Yes
Hypno (Built by MAD Scientist, first showcased FBS) Of course
I Will Get Shredded (A famous robot, if not for its great run in BBEANS1 despite its name or looks then for its recognizability amongst the RA2 community) ...Not sure
ICED OUT (First Popup) So which popup it is, death port or this ?
Infection 4 (BBEANS6 Runner-up) Maybe
Insectoid Yes, although I have a bit of doubt
Insult to Injury V (Immortalized due to its razor guy run in BBEANS5) Yes
Ion- (Most famous unrealistic DSL bot, first bot to win BoTM and an AI tourney) Nope
Iron Outlaws (first interchangeable bot) Yes, although I still doubt
Iron Spaghetti (Popularized the use of flails in tourneys) Yes
Jex Air 3 (old and recognizable) Maybe
Korium9's Snake (Proof a Snake replica could be done and one of the coolest bots of its time.) Don't remember it
Lame HS (Just for its "legacy", should be ranked really low on the list if it gets in) what the **** is this exactly
Leviathan (revolutionized the UHW, not the first of its kind but popularized it and made it into an official weight class) Possibly
Le\/eL (BBEANS3 Runner-up) Maybe
Little Darling (Old fearsome bot according to Sage) Yes
Logic Probe (The most recognizable AW from Starcore?) Yes
Lousy Launcher (Pioneer of metal hinge wedges) Maybe. although it wasn't the pioneer, it just restarted metal hinge wedge use in modern times
Ludicrous Speed (First torque reaction flipper, spawned ReActive and its clones) Yup
Mako Definitely
Minesweeper Yes.
Morse Code Breaker (innovated a new type of wedge, however the wedge was eventually removed in a patch so this should be ranked pretty low) Unsure
N00BOT (biggest chassis used on an effective Stock bot) Maybe
Nasty Pickle (another robot that has named a glitch) Yes
Neglected Waterbug Of course
Project Trinity Sure why not
Queen Calypso (First IRL tourney champion) No that is ridiculous
R4 Yes
Rabid Pit Bull Of course
Radial Disturbance (BW Bash Champion, proof it is the best BW out there as of now) Eh wat ?
Rage III (Drove itself OOTA and started a meme.) Of course
razor guy (Coined the term "razor guy run" after its surprise wins in BBEANS1) Yes, although I have doubts
Ripper (AON1 Champion, another popular Youtube robot) wut
Ripper Swing (First TRFBD) Yes
Rotation-Powered Pulsar (Killer SnS) Of course
Ryu-Kishin (First BattleBots champion. Proof that IRL doesn't have to suck by beating a substandard DSL bot in the final) I suppose
Second Sunrise (revolutionizing the halfsheet VS) Maybe
Seism 13 Of course
Shebeast (just as memorable as the other two BBEANS2 top robots) Yup
Shinigami (A well-known robot amongst the community) eh
SiegeCraft (The bot everyone saw on Youtube and the bot that inspired us all to create piston bots that could own the stock AI) The original n00b poker ? Sure why not
SkidMark (2 IRL championships and the most successful IRL bot ever. Proof that IRL can be as effective as you want it to be.) wut
SkinHead Yes
Slaying Mantis I'm not so sure
SmashBox 2 Yes
SnSnSnSnS Yes
Spinner from the west Of course
Sweet Poppin' Corns (Best representation of AAM) wut
Symbiote (Awesome, creative design) Definitely
Tempus Fugit Yes
Tha Thumperizer Yes
The bot that beat Sage in "Sage Gets Owned" (memorable for its upset victory) although hilarious I disagree
The Infinite Yes
The Orange is a Tasty Fruit (inspired a new, effective VS design that is still in use today) Maybe
Toriodore (Notorious for being a really tough IRL bot) Noope
Tornado (The most fearsome stock MW of the original game. Most noobs' biggest fear.) Sure why not
Uber Chuzzle (The most iconic Wild Robots competitor of all time, a popular robot on YouTube) No it's a piece of sh**
Ultimate Sacrifice (new design with invincible armor) Yes
ULTIMATUM (HOJ Slayer) Yes
Valid Query 2 (A popular and recognizable robot within the RA2 community, popularized rammers to some degree) Yes, although I doubt it
Volatile Partisan (First to simulate Mecanum-style drive) Yes
Wedge Tracker (BBEANS1 Runner-up) Maybe
Wicked Chicken (First Chicken Drill) Yes

also why not NOT make a 100 most memorable list, and just make a list of the most memorable bots and rank them in different classes (ex. Innovation, Battle worth, Meme)

this list needs more stock ai anyway. Berserker ? LugNut, for being horrible ? Coal Miner ?

It's probably been mentioned before, but a picture and who actually made the robot is sorely missing. Dividing it into categories would help too, as right now that quoted list is just a massive wall of text that holds little interest to me.

Runner Up in: The Amazing Rage (Team Fedex), R0B0NOVA (Zaphod Stock), Steel Warzone (Inception of Instability), Box of Nightmares (Gicquel), Wheely Tag (Minifridge the Second)

"N00BOT (biggest chassis used on an effective Stock bot)"
This is a joke, right? RIGHT?!

I will disagree with Nar, IMO it's better, if there are no categories. 100 bots, famous with whatever.
Although, I must agree, that I never heard about some bots, and some bots don't have a place in here.

Well, Cheap Norris is a pretty controversial bot. This discusion was important, cos it can be built (as a VS bot only) and used in DSL too. It meets all criterias on paper (a bumple ball with a legal/controllable/2WD regular drive or a VS/HS legal hybrid (nothing is touching the ground intially)), but it's obviously designed to loose his drive very fast (the most minimal and light/cheap components was used, pretty exposed by purpose). So it's all about this : will the tournament host allow any loopholing/go wild with the rules or not. Some hosts allows anything, that passes the rules on paper, giving a more freedom for the smart/tricky builders. And as a final argument for my creation, I'll say, that it didn't won, yep, it's not immortal, so...
Also, cheap =/= illegal.
You decide, where is the bound between the VSs or bots with legs with unprotected drive system, and CN.

I'm supporting the pics/authors too! Go pics, go!

By noobot I meant Sage's popup, yes. Kurt made that UHW after I started the list.

Anyway I basically have the list sorted out and ready to go.

personal opinion: anybody that needed to suggest a bot that they themselves built, it probably wasnt memorable enough

For once the mods did something right

Mechadino is right. Lack of proper weapons, slow, mish mash of components, it's basically just a punching bag.

Even for MW's.

Great fun to rip to pieces, though.
