I remember the wiki being helpful for me when i first joined and the tutorial pages where still relevant. Perhaps there should be an effort to fix up the wiki?
I imagine many newbs flock to it only to be dissapointed with outdated info.

The member pages are completely irrelevant unless you've done something notable.
I wouldn't complain if they were all removed honestly.

As for wiki updating, it's a good plan, I just worry about how vast it is.
Perhaps redirecting people to the tutorials we already have links to in the Index instead of writing new tutorials on the wiki could be an idea.

I agree in regards to the member pages. The issue with deleting the tutorials as well would then be the question of what use is the wiki for?
Personally, if that was the route taken, I think it could be useful as a compendium of mod and individual part information perhaps. Either way it just seems a shame to me that its seemingly abandoned, maybe i'm just bein sentimental haha.

Not necessarily deleting all the tutorials, but redirecting any outdated ones that have newer versions on the forum to those newer ones.
The Wiki is a source of historical information to me, you know, tournaments and bots, as well as information on mods and their components in some cases.

i wouldn't delete the user pages, a lot of them have tournament history and stuff that isn't found many other places if the user remembers it at all

I really don't actually care that much, I just haven't done much on RA2 recently and need a reason to actually play + TRB deciding its a good idea to beat the dead horse + I have an itching for doing some curb-stomping lately = DSL 2.2 Challenge, let's go.

but much more importantly popups are faster and have strong armour for cheap. This kills the VS.

Any chance of getting audio embedding on the wiki? I want to add some sound files from RA2 on this page (which is very obviously still a WIP btw), but the wiki doesn't have .wav/.mp3/.ogg embedding.

I thought Events_2Player was the Events txt file the game referred to instead of the normal one if you set Event Size to 2 Player in the options?

I'll see about finding a suitable extension for playing sounds effects sometime after RA3 is launched. I'm pretty busy right now organizing things all across GTM and I need time to play around with the extension before it goes public.
