I dunno what happened to the small arena, but it's back up now.

There's not going to be a DSL 3.0 unless some major breakthrough happens, like being able to edit the exe.  And even then it would probably be called something else and not DSL, because DSL bots probably wouldn't work anymore in it.

Now my antbots can fight in arena sutible to them!

I downloaded it.
Its great!
But, whats with the weird things, like the farting and the robot pictures?
And why do you need the stopmy thing?

Hey, i was wondering, could anyone improve some of the replicas in the DSL 2.1 patch?
For a start, you will need to get rid of the havoc explosion on Firestorm.
And could Typhoon have a much faster spin speed?
Its not just for me, but for everyone.
The reps need a slight upgrade.
Damn I should probably put something fancy in this bit huh?

And Chaos 2's flipper needs to be fixed. It is very weak.

Don't overcharge Click, guys...

That said, for Chaos 2 and Typhoon's power, you can do it yourselves. Just have a look at the replicas, find the right burst motor (in Chaos 2) or spin motor (in Typhoon) and tweak them to make them more powerful.

But this could empower other bots as well, because these motors aren't only used in Chaos 2/Typhoon.

Oh, I've got an Idea!

Whirlpool arena. This is a normal arena, with a spinning disc in the center. The thing is, that there is two rings outside of it, spinning at slower speeds. I'll explain.

Disk is spinning at 400
Ring one (inner ring) is at 300
Ring two is at 200.

And there is some spikes on the walls.
Put this onto your signature if you were part of this crappy fad in '03.

Nice idea, S-32.  This might be do-able.  
I will try your suggestion, if others can/will help... for I cannot do all of the work myself...

Firebeetle tried making a Carousel of Doom arena, where you fight to stay on a spinning merry-go-round, but unless you set the floor friction to the point where you can hardly drive, the floor just slides underneath the bots and the bots don't move.  And if the friction IS that high, the floor has to be spinning at a snail's pace or else the centrifugal force will hurl all the bots off before you can so much as say "It doesn't work."

I didn't think of that kind of arena. But sounds good...
I was thinking of using 4 'Force', laterally aligned into a (square) vortex.  It's like the small river in the 'BattleGround' Arena, that I need Spyguy to skin for me... It will be have water (remove collision) and then 4 or more 'Forces' applied as described above.  
We'll see...

ok guys i need GMF help on this one. that is to say i never could "make" the arena floor.
 im thinking a mount everest type map kinda like the pyarimid table top with diff lvls. it will not be a table top just a combat. if you can get to the very top (up a few steep walls) then you hit the "flag" and kill all the other bots. HOWEVER it has to be HARD to get to the top. im working out the path of the lvls and slopes. as soon as i have a rendering i will post it. let me know what you think. it might have to make it a king of the hill so the AI will know to try for the top. if that is the case then at the bottem i will make a death pit all the way around so you have be carefull.... ok heres the idea on screen.
