JD, that first bot was something i actually tried in DSL last night... I attempted to make a UHW Trapper with a similar design but much larger.

The bigger VS is a really cool idea also, I may have to give that a try sometime since the only thing I can make in DSL is VS...

For once the mods did something right

yep

I hate builders block, I made an awsome, my best bot ever, HS, then, my creativity got........paralized

I have made a bunch of "classic" bots, though (a classic bot is a bot like the ones that were made when the game first came out, like the RFS AI)

Ditched design that would have been my CC2 Entry. I present Saw-Awe! Only 8 ants. Pretty good gut ripper if its mediocre wedges get under.

RR. That think rocks hard on the creativity scale. I like it!

@123stw... to answer your question, the wedge does not seem to do very well.  Oddly enough the bot does not seem to perform the same in the arena as it does in the botlab.  Gonna try some more ideas with that design and get back to you.

In response to Jack's VS.

The green arrow is the *Push* of the VS, which is greater than *chassis force*. This weakens the wedge (Shown as yellow arrows) and puts pressure on the rear (Red circle).

Solution? Ballasts, and lighter main weapon. Less *Push* created, and more weight pinning the front to the ground.

Protip: VS weapon weight in total must not weigh the same or more than the bot, for a good wedge. (Motors don't count.)

THIS.

Is why I hate Runescape.

Instead of letting people experiment, we Give them guides.

I actually miss the days when I could play a game and learn by myself how to become good at it.

Last time anything like that happened was when I was 10. every game I played since has a guide for every pixel.

Hurry up, I want the cheat sheet next!

I don't think you understand.

That was over the whole statistics thing, which was ruining my projects.

This is because it'll be cool and useful.

Sparkey, get out. No really. This is nothing like Hazcon and i'll doubt you'll ever be able to build a good juggler.

And S32 do NOT encourage people to use ballasts... External stabilizers all you want (especially if they are useful in other departments such as static weapons or armor) but using ballasts is a capital sin.

dude, I was not insulting Hazcon, you need to get a sense of humor, I can't build jugglers, and I posted it for the pourpose of this. I have nothing against you or Hazcon, as he is my favorite DSL bot. I'm just brainstorming ideas.

Capital sin my ass.

I'll encourage the use of ballasts all I want, they are useful and don't need entire chassis rebuilds like most batteries.

The only place I condone them is in DSL. Ants work fine there.
