At school, we have to make a 'project' about what we like to do. I'm thinking of doing it on RA2.

But how can you help?

I want you guys to make a video of STOCK RA2 in the bot lab and in battle (using Fraps). Upload it onto Youtube, and send me a link. I'll download it, and make a video with it, and some clips of myself.

How does that sound?

I don't know a project about a videogame, especially a rather unknown one, will really please your teachers.

Excepted if you do it exceptionally well... but

, when i'm thinking of it that would make awesome advertisment for us :D

No thanks, all I just want is footage of battles from stock (not original, I'm talking about SCv3/4, BBEANSAI, RFS, etc.) and the bot lab (building bots or showing them off in the lab and the test arena).

I think it shouldn't really be on the game itself, but about what some clever and talented people can manage to do with it. There was a RA2 trailer somewhere with a box-shaped robot fighting like crap on the bridge of doom arena. Afterwards show the footage of your average GTM stock battle. Show how game mechanics can be exploited and glitched, and what stuff can be created when hackers come into the scene. Showing Starcore is a must.

People won't care about a video game - they might care about how something can be used for something it was never designed to. Caster armor, Trinity Project, eFFe glitch, etc.

Aren't there a lot of tournament clips or showcase clips out there on youtube? Instead of making new ones maybe you can just ask permission to use existing ones.

Make a vid like the BBEANS promo. (short clips of awesomeness spliced together, to epic music). Make sure you put in bots like 36HSs and other impressive ones because I have shown my friends those and their always like WHOA!
