How do I get stock components into the Robot Wars Mod?

Hi Everyone!
So I downloaded both RA2 and the Modded Robot Wars version for the first time recently, and I'm really enjoying them both!
However, I do find that, when building bots, I prefer the components in the original version to the RW one. So I was wondering if there was a way to copy across the components from one game into the other to have the best of both worlds? I doubt it would be particularly difficult, but I wanted to make sure I got it right, and that all the relevant files ended up in the right place. Could someone possibly walk me through it?

It's mostly not recommended because the components are balanced differently. What components specifically do you want to cary over?

The RW mod has stock components, but they are hidden in the game.. you will have to go trough every txt file and set hidden = 0
But i personally think it is just a waste of time, as stock parts are underpowered in rw mod.. you will get your ass served in a battle

Ah, OK, fair enough. It's not a huge deal!
Well, ideally some of the motors, such as the Z-Tec, and some of the weapons, such as the axe heads etc. I haven't really got a comprehensive list.

You could probably get away with the Z Tek, but all the stock weapons will be obscenly weak.

OK, thanks! I'll have a go and see what happens. If it doesn't work, then at least I tried it.

Thought I'd post an update. I managed to get the Z-tec into the RW mod version very easily, and it works pretty well. It's nice to have some alternative motors to choose from too! Thanks again for your help!
