Title: How do I get stock components into the Robot Wars Mod?

So I downloaded both RA2 and the Modded Robot Wars version for the first time recently, and I'm really enjoying them both!
However, I do find that, when building bots, I prefer the components in the original version to the RW one. So I was wondering if there was a way to copy across the components from one game into the other to have the best of both worlds? I doubt it would be particularly difficult, but I wanted to make sure I got it right, and that all the relevant files ended up in the right place. Could someone possibly walk me through it?

But i personally think it is just a waste of time, as stock parts are underpowered in rw mod.. you will get your ass served in a battle

Well, ideally some of the motors, such as the Z-Tec, and some of the weapons, such as the axe heads etc. I haven't really got a comprehensive list.

OK, thanks! I'll have a go and see what happens. If it doesn't work, then at least I tried it. :smile:

Post by: Kosmos on May 06, 2017, 10:02:18 AM: Thought I'd post an update. I managed to get the Z-tec into the RW mod version very easily, and it works pretty well. It's nice to have some alternative motors to choose from too! Thanks again for your help!
