Fear Raters & Respect Raters - The 10 Commandments + 1
« on: March 23, 2009, 02:05:34 PM »
Here is where any changes to the ratings will be posted! I will look here to see if you have made a valid change. Otherwise changes will not be made to that specific member. Fair Enough?

Changes will now be looked at/made on the summaries of the wiki pages that the Fear and Respect Raters edit. This means that when you edit a page, type something meaningful in the summary text field at the bottom like "why you rated whoever, etc."  This is so that all the rest of us get a clear and equal understanding on why the rating was given.

10 Commandments For Fear And Respect Raters:
  • Thou shalt not make false judgements.
  • Thou shalt not judge based on emotion.
  • Thou shalt not judge based on relationship.
  • Thou shalt make all judgements logical and true.
  • Thou shalt display EVERY change in this thread on the summary of the members edited page.
  • Thou shalt not boast.
  • Thou shalt not slander.
  • Thou shalt abide by the rules of the nomination threads.
  • Thou shalt weareth thine badge proudly.
  • Thou shalt respect the badge, it's power, and never giveith it to another member.
  • And thou shalt of course, Have fun!

For Members posting in this thread (Excluding admin staff):
Please be respectful as to not argue with the Fear/Respect Raters based on your rating, In this field they are above you. If you have a problem do not post it on this thread. Instead, send me a PM. If the problem persists, I will talk to Naryar or any of the other heads of the wiki about it.

When Rating
As of now, you should have a good idea how many points someone deserves for something. Currently there really is no limit as to how many points one should receive, and it typically balances out thanks to the other members. But of course you shouldn't be making ridiculously high or low ratings anyway - if that's the case chances are, that too will balance out.

Anything else you would like me to discuss with you about the Ratings, let me know asap. Do not ask for a position in Rating however, I will let you guys know when the time comes!

Thank you.

I put 9/100 for Hydro's Respect Rating because he stopped flooding.

I think several builders are overrated in Fear Rating, like Click and Barbie. Both do not use intimidation and they're both MUCH more respected (maybe even admired) than feared IMO.

Agreed. Thus is the whole purpose of this new Fear/Respect Rating, I was thinking the same thing.

Perhaps -30 points on Clicks Fear Rating (Maybe 40), and Barbie gets -10? I would count ACAMS as fearful however, apart from owning that rifle!
(no pun intended)

Anyway, Ya'll change the Ratings to see fit. I'm adding basic Respect Ratings to all the members tonight. If they need to be changed, feel free to change them to a better value.

ACAMS should have more fear rating than respect rating, i think.

EDIT: probably going to be torn to shreds by Click quickly.

You were the prototype 'counter-model'.
Hope you feel special...

Input is appreciated. :)
-Arrogance is a quantity devoid of quality...
-As a client once told me "This is my story, and it's sticking to me!"
-Relationships these days are like the 'Arrival' section of the airport: a lot of baggage is being revealed in one place, and not a lot of it is being correlated to its real owners...

I know for a fact that my fear rating should go way down. I'm going to look into others later tonight.

Bumped up from the grave, This thread is pretty important for Fear and Respect Raters (And I'm too lazy to rewrite the commandments atm).

Edited some stuff on here. You could also post your changes on the wiki... Actually I prefer it.
