If you guys want to make a new AI pack, then you don't need SC's permission. (If redo an SC pack, then let me know.) I think it's a cool idea.
I would just do a couple things:
1. Talk with ACAMS (which I don't think he'll mind at all, as long as it gets finished)
2. Make a new Thread for it.
3. Make it 'tuff' (my input).

ive built 5 teams for AI packs and neither of them got finished (SCv4 and Pys AI 2)

i know that i think i could do one, but for now we all need to finish up RA2 restocked, for it will be a very tough pack.

Don't worry Mad i'll be a harsh critic. I WILL make it tuff. Look at the DSL base AI. No rebuild was weak.

Urjak don't be a n00b, there are tutorials everywhere.

Starcore posted one on the wiki, there are plenty of posts here on AIing that you have seen and i would suggest having a look at the Bindings.py.

Well my mistake. Jeez. And starcore's only tells you how to AI if you have the Starcore AI pack, then you just switch out a similar bot with yours. And I will hardly consider them everywhere. The only one I have ever seen is the starcore one. (Which did not help me at all)

I would love to help. I think it should be an addon, such as:
We keep the original DSL Bots, and just add in the teams that we create.
Kind of like how BBEANS Champions and Team RA2 were added in 2.1. I would wan't this, but I still want to keep the original AI too.

I just meant that the question "where can i find an AI tutorial" coming from a regular builder with some experience was n00b-like, but you are here since several months and you certainly lurked enough on the forums to know that.

I would suggest having a close look to the Bindings.py if this hasn't been made already.

Oh, and get Notepad++, it'll help you if you want to AI (that is, modifying the Bindings.py). And make a backup because any single coding error in the Bindings.py crashes the game.
