I am an expert at Sheck Spinner building, nothing more.

IS THAT A CHALLENGE!? URJAK, I CHALLENGE YOU. DSL HW. SS.
Killing SS with another SS is no indicator of how good a SS is overall.

call the page what you will but the point of the page IMO is people who are the best at those bot types (like the thread name)

If its a bot type you only build but yet to have any success, it makes you a fanboy not a specialist in this context.

Success doesnt just mean tournament wins.

Example: Craaig should be a VS specialist based on the fact his "Orange" style design is used a lot nowaday by others.. He impacted the world of VS robots.

My thoughts anyway.. I didnt put myself on that page until I had won some awards for my robots or in the case of Flamethrowers discover the Octane glitch.

Pusher should be included as a type with The Ounce as the expert.  I know Naryar made the first phototype but the Ounce really nail the concept of de-weapon pusher with refraction.

In fact... https://gametechmods.com/RA2wiki/index.php?title=Specialist_Builder

Nar: I like how you're listed as a specialist of like 5 different bot types. Once you move past being good at one type, YOU'RE NOT A SPECIALIST ANYMORE.

I really don't think there are any real specialist builders at the moment. Is there anybody who showcases exclusively one and only one type of bot? Not to my knowledge.

I mostly only build Popups and HS in stock. Two problems with this, though. One, none of my designs have been particularly new and innovative. Two, most of the time, my designs turn out to be rubbish in combat. Specifically the wedginess of my popups. They're really just Snapper practice for me.

Very well... but like 123STW said, SS Vs SS doesn't necessarily point to the better Sheck Spinner.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

Uh, specialists are supposed to be the BEST at their bot types...

A specialist is an expert who is devoted to a single job or someone who practices a single branch of something.

Surgeons are specialists. Even the new ones.
However, the President's personal bodygaurds are also specialists.

I could happily build sh**ty popups all day and upon one of the two definitions of the word, I'm still a specialist.

I'm making sh**ty bots, but I'm still a specialist.

they don't get their jobs by being crappy though >.> when someone is a specialist at something they are good at what they do as they have spent time learning their craft.

I think I should be on the SS list, My Dual-layered weaponry made quite a splash, and as far as I'm aware, was the first, or one of the first, to use weaponry like that.
